There is a competitor limit of 160 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $35 (Canadian Dollar).
The registration fee has to be paid through Stripe here once registered.
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 95% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Any spectator can attend for free.
Competitor List
Registrants must pay the registration fee in order to be added to the competitor list. Unpaid registrations will not be accepted.
Once the competitor list reaches the 160 competitor limit, registrants who pay the registration fee will be added to the waiting list instead of the competitor list. Due to the competitor limit, completing your registration within the initial registration period does not guarantee you a spot on the competitor list.
Waiting List
The waiting list is ordered based on the timestamp that registrants paid the registration fee. If you are added to the waiting list you will be informed via an email. You can view your position on the waiting list on the Register page.
If anyone on the competitor list deletes their registration, the person at the top of the waiting list will be moved to the competitor list. After August 20, 2026, the competitor list will be finalized and registrants who are still on the waiting list will be refunded 100% of their registration fee. Registrants on the waiting list may email Speedcubing Canada at any time to forfeit their spot on the waiting list and be refunded 100% of their registration fee.
If the competitor list fills up quickly, registration could close earlier than the originally listed date (August 20, 2026). The waiting list will close at the same time that registration closes.
Parking
Parking is free at Sheridan College Davis Campus. The competition is held in the gymnasium at the Davis Campus (7899 McLaughlin Road, Brampton, ON L6Y 5H9). Follow signs for visitor parking upon entering campus from McLaughlin Road.
Entering the Building
The competition will be held in the gymnasium at Sheridan's Davis Campus. Once inside the main entrance, follow the signs to the gymnasium. The check-in desk will be at the entrance to the gym.
Transit
The venue is directly accessible by Brampton Transit, with multiple routes stopping at the Sheridan College Bus Terminal on campus, including routes 3, 4, 11, 18, 51, 53, 57, 61, and 66. Plan your trip at Brampton Transit.
Food
There are several restaurants within a short drive at Shoppers World Brampton, located approximately 1.5 km north on Steeles Avenue. Additional options are available along Steeles Avenue and McLaughlin Road.
When does the competition start? When should I arrive at the venue?
The check-in desk will be open throughout the day at the entrance to the gym or at data entry (behind the solving stations). You should arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start of your first event. It is your responsibility to be on-time to compete. Please refer to the schedule and double-check start times the week of the competition, as the schedule is subject to change based on final registration numbers.

How do I cancel my registration?
Please send us an email to request cancellation of your registration. Please note the cancellation/refund policy listed on the registration page.
Groups and judging assignments will be available here about a week before the competition: https://www.competitiongroups.com/competitions/BramptonSummer2026. These "groups" are when you are assigned to compete, judge, and/or scramble during an event you are registered for.
Per Regulations 1e2 and 1f2, all competitors must be available to help judge and scramble. If you're unsure how to judge, please review the WCA Regulations, watch this video, or ask one of the WCA Delegates at the competition.
Please plan to arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes before the start of your first group and be ready to compete five minutes before it is scheduled to begin. Showing up excessively late to your group may result in not being allowed to compete in that event.
Live results will be posted during the competition at live.worldcubeassociation.org.
Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
Advancement Condition
The number of competitors shown as advancing to the next round is the planned maximum. The actual number may be lower if there are fewer competitors than expected, or if there are ties at the boundary.
