Formato Rush-Hour
Discipline
Saranno disponibili le seguenti 4 discipline:
- 4x4
- Pyraminx
- Skewb (solo primo round)
- Square-1
Le prove rimanenti verranno registrate come DNS ("Did Not Start").
Formato Rush-Hour
Two Groups
Participants are divided into two groups (A and B).
- Group A starts as competitors (they do the solves).
- Meanwhile, all members of Group B take on roles such as judge, runner, or scrambler.
- Once Group A is finished, the groups switch: Group B becomes the competitors, and Group A takes over the helper roles.
🛑 Important: Everyone must stay from the beginning to the end, since each group relies on the other for helping roles. Without helpers, no one can compete.
Events
The following 4 events are offered:
- 4x4
- Pyraminx
- Skewb (only 1st round)
- Square-1
Cumulative Time Limit
You have a total of 10 minutes to complete all your solves. This is the combined time of all your attempts, across all events.
- DNFs also count towards the time limit. Always make sure the time of a DNF is written down.
- For example, if you've already done 4 solves and your total time is 8 minutes, you have 2 minutes left.
- Once the 10-minute limit is reached, you are not allowed to do any more solves. Remaining attempts will be marked as DNS ("Did Not Start").
- If the limit is exceeded, your attempts will be marked as DNF, starting with the most recent one, until your total time is back under 10 minutes.
- For your own overview, we also recommend calculating your total accumulated time after each event.
No Fixed Order
- You can freely choose which event to start with and in which order you want to solve.
- Write down the order in which you complete your events in the top right corner of the corresponding scoresheet. For example, if you start with 4x4, write a 1 there. The next event gets a 2, and so on. This helps us determine which solves count in case you exceed the 10-minute time limit.
You don't have to do all events
If you only want to do one or two events – for example, just 4x4 and Skewb – that's totally fine.
Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced across rounds (see Regulation A1a2).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
Advancement Condition
The number of competitors shown as advancing to the next round is the planned maximum. The actual number may be lower if there are fewer competitors than expected, or if there are ties at the boundary.
