La participación en este torneo requiere de la comprensión de los siguientes requisitos:

FORMATO COMPETICIÓN BEAT THE CLOCK SABANETA 2023

Esta competición se llevará a cabo con un formato de tiempo límite acumulado para todas las categorías. Cada competidor tendrá un tiempo total acumulado de 35 minutos para llevar a cabo sus soluciones, la metodología sera la siguiente:

  • Los competidores serán divididos en 3 grupos de 10 competidores, todos los competidores deben estar presentes a las 8:00 am para realizar la conformación de grupos y funciones.
  • Todos los competidores deben ayudar a mezclar, juzgar, digitar en los grupos en los cuales no esten participando
  • Se tiene presupuestado un tiempo de 2,5 horas para cada grupo, en los cuales cada competidor realizará sus soluciones con un tiempo límite acumulado de 35 minutos.

  • Los competidores pueden realizar los eventos en el orden en que desee, una vez iniciado un evento se deben terminar las soluciones o solicitar DNS para las soluciones restantes antes de comenzar un nuevo evento.

    • Si el competidor espera un tiempo superior a 8 minutos debe informar al juez para asegurar un registro del tiempo adecuado con el cronómetro de mano en caso de superar los 10 minutos en el timer.
    • Se solicita a los competidores y acompañantes ser silenciosos debido a que se estarán llevando a cabo resoluciones de 3x3 blindfolded, se recomienda a los competidores interesados en hacer la categoría 3x3 blindfolded el uso de tapaoidos.

BEAT THE CLOCK SABANETA 2023 COMPETITION FORMAT

This competition will be held with a cumulative time limit for all categories. Each competitor will have a total accumulated time of 35 minutes to execute their solutions, the methodology will be as follows:

  • The competitors will be divided into 3 groups of 10 competitors, all competitors must be present at 8:00 am to make the conformation of groups and functions.
  • All competitors must help scramble, judge, typing in the groups in which they are not participating
  • A time of 2.5 hours has been budgeted for each group, in which each competitor will carry out their solutions with an accumulated time limit of 35 minutes.
  • Competitors may do the events in any order they wish. Once they've started an event, they must complete all solves for that event or DNS the remaining solves before moving on to a different event.
  • If the competitor is expecting a result over 8 minutes, please inform the Delegate/Judge. This will allow us to properly use a stopwatch to time the attempt in addition to the stackmat timer, so that if you exceed 10 minutes the time can be accurately taken from the stopwatch.
  • Competitors and companions are requested to be silent, because 3x3 blindfolded resolutions will be taking place, competitors interested in doing the 3x3 blindfolded category are recommended to use ear muffs.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced across rounds (see Guideline A1a2++).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
