Amb tren

L'estació de tren de "Balaguer" està situada a 11 minuts (900 m) caminant del lloc de l'campionat i en un curt passeig hi arribareu. Aquesta connecta, sobretot, amb l'estació de "Lleida-Pirineus", amb la qual hi ha múltiples connexions al llarg del dia.

Amb bus

L'estació d'autobusos està situada a 8 minuts caminant (600 m) del lloc del campionat i té múltiples connexions amb les ciutats de Catalunya i arreu.

Amb cotxe

Si veniu en cotxe, al carrer on es fa el campionat, no hi trobareu aparcament. Tot i això, podreu trobar aparcament gratuït a uns 3 min caminant del local del campionat.

Amb avió

L'aeroport de "Lleida-Alguaire" està situat a uns 40 km de la ciutat de Balaguer. Per a arribades internacionals, hi ha també l'aeroport "Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat", el qual es situa a 145 km.

En tren

La estación de tren de "Balaguer" está situada a 11 minutos (900 m) caminando del lugar del campeonato y en un corto paseo llegará. Ésta conecta, sobre todo, con la estación de "Lleida-Pirineus", con la que hay múltiples conexiones a lo largo del día.

En autobús

La estación de autobuses está situada a 8 minutos andando (600 m) del lugar del campeonato y tiene múltiples conexiones con las ciudades de Cataluña y por otras ciudades cercanas.

En coche

Si venís en coche, en la calle donde se hace el campeonato, no encontraréis aparcamiento. Sin embargo, podréis encontrar aparcamiento gratuito a unos 3 minutos andando del local del Open.

En avión

El aeropuerto de "Lleida-Alguaire" está situado a unos 40 km de la ciudad de Balaguer. Para llegadas internacionales, se encuentra también el aeropuerto "Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat", que se sitúa a 145 km.

How to get?

To get to Lleida, there are 4 options:

By train

The train station of "Balaguer" is located 11 minutes (900 m) walking from the place of the championship and in a short walk you will arrive there. It connects, above all, with the "Lleida-Pirineus" station, with which there are multiple connections throughout the day.

By bus

The bus station is located 8 minutes walking distance (600 m) from the championship venue and has multiple connections to the cities of Catalonia and other nearby cities.

By car

If you come by car, you won't find any parking on the street where the championship is held. However, you can find free parking about 3 minutes walk from the Open venue.

Tot i ser un campionat d'un dia, teniu la possibilitat d'allotjar-vos en alguna de les opcions d'allotjament que ofereix la ciutat de Balaguer si així ho preferiu.

Accommodation

Although it is a one-day competition, you have the possibility to stay in one of the accommodation options offered by the city of Balaguer if you prefer it.

Preguntes Freqüents

P: Com puc registrar-me?
R: En primer lloc has d'assegurar-te de que tinguis creat un compte de la WCA. Si no és així, es pot fer de manera molt senzilla fent click en "registrarse" i crean-te'n un. Un cop fet això, ves a la pestanya "Registro" i segueix els passos corresponents.

P: Per què no hi soc a la llista de competidors?
R: Si us plau, assegura't d'haver seguit totes les instruccions de la pestanya "Registre". També és possible que siguis a la lista de espera. Pots veure el límit de competidors a la pàgina Informació General i la llista de competidors a Competidores. Si creus haver fet tot correctament i tot i així no apareixes, tingues paciència. Els registres s'aproben de manera manual i el Delegat y organitzadors no estan disponibles a tot moment. Si el teu registre no s'ha acceptat passats dos dies, envian's un correu.

P: Puc cambiar les categoríes a les que em presento?
R: Sí. Pots editar-ho aquí fins el tancament del registre.

P: Ja no puc assistir, què he de fer?
R: Primer de tot, informar-nos vía email tan aviat com ho sapiguis per que un altre competidor pugui ocupar el teu lloc. Un cop eliminat el teu registre, l'organització gestionarà el reemborsament de part de la quota de registre. Pots veure el percentatge que se't retornarà aquí.

P: Com de ràpid he de ser per poder competir?
R: Et recomanem que miris la taula del Horari per informar-te dels temps límit de cada proba. La majoria de gent va a les competicions per conèixer gent amb la que comparteixen aquesta afició sense importar els temps o sencillament a tractar de millorar els seus propis rècords personals, ¡Tothom és apte per competir i passar-ho bé!

P: Hi ha categories per diferents edats?
R: Tots els competidors participen en les mateixes condicions i participants de totes les edats són benvinguts. La majoria de gent acostuma a tindre uns 15-20 anys, però també hi ha gent més jove i més major.

P: He d'utilitzar els meus propis cubs per competir?
R: Sí! Assegura't de portar els teus puzzles per a totes les categoríes on competeixis i no els perdis de vista.

P: Puc assistir com a espectador?
R: Sí, a més l'entrada és gratuita i lliure per acompanyants. Fes un cop d'ull al horari del campionat per que puguis venir a veure les categoríes que més t'interessin o assabentar-te de quan son les finals.

P: Qué he de fer al arribar?
R: Si ets un nou competidor, no et perdis el tutorial, si us plau. Podràs recollir la teva acreditació més endavant. Si no ho ets, el primer que s'ha de fer és anar a la taula del registre per poder-te donar els regals de la inscripció i la acreditació.

P: He de romandre tot el torneig?
R: Només es necessari que hi siguis quan et toqui competir o fer de jutge/runner/barrejador.

P: On miro els resultats i si passo a la seguent ronda?
R: Els temps i classficacions de la competició es pujaran a aquesta pàgina uns dies després de la competició. els resultats en directe els podràs trobar a WCA Live.

Preguntas Frecuentes

P: ¿Cómo me registro?
R: En primer lugar tienes que asegurarte de que tengas creada una cuenta de la WCA. Si no es así, se puede hacer de manera muy sencilla haciendo click en "registrarse" y creándote una. Una vez hecho esto, vete a la pestaña Registro y sigue los pasos correspondientes.

P: ¿Por qué no aparezco en la lista de competidores?
R: Por favor, asegúrate de haber seguido todas las instruciones de la pestaña Registro. También es posible que estés en la lista de espera. El limite de competidores puedes verlo en la página Información General y la lista de competidores en Competidores. Si crees haber hecho todo correctamente y aun así no apareces, ten paciencia. Los registros se aprueban de manera manual y los Delegados y organizadores no están disponibles en todo momento. Si tu registro no se ha aceptado pasados dos días, mándanos un correo.

P: ¿Puedo cambiar los eventos a los que me presento?
R: Sí. Puedes editarlo aquí hasta el cierre del registro.

P: Ya no puedo asistir, ¿qué debo hacer?
R: Lo primero que tienes que hacer es informarnos vía email tan pronto como lo sepas para que otro competidor pueda ocupar tu lugar. Una vez dado de baja tu registro, la organización gestionará el reembolso de parte de tu cuota de registro. Puedes ver el porcentage que se te devolverà aquí.

P: ¿Cómo de rápido tengo que ser para poder competir?
R: Te recomendamos que mires la tabla del Horario para informarte de los tiempos límite de cada prueba. La mayoría de gente va a las competiciones para conocer a gente con la que comparten esta afición sin importar los tiempos o sencillamente a tratar de mejorar sus propios tiempos personales, ¡todo el mundo es apto para competir y pasarlo bien!

P: ¿Hay categorías para diferentes edades?
R: Todos los competidores participan en las mismas condiciones y participantes de todas las edades son bienvenidos. La mayoría de gente suele tener unos 15-20 años, pero también hay gente más joven y más mayor.

P: ¿Tengo que usar mis propios cubos para competir?
R: ¡Sí! Asegúrate de traer puzzles para todos los eventos en los que compitas y no los pierdas de vista.

P: ¿Puedo ir simplemente como espectador?
R: Sí, además la entrada es completamente gratuita para los espectadores. Echa un vistazo al horario del campeonato para que puedas venir a ver los eventos que más te interesen o enterarte de cuando son las finales.

P: ¿Qué debo hacer cuando llegue?
R: Si eres un nuevo competidor, no te pierdas el tutorial, por favor. Podrás recoger tu acreditación más adelante. Si no, lo primero que hay que hacer es ir a la mesa de registro para que te podamos dar los regalos de inscripción y la acreditación.

P: ¿Debo estar durante todo el campeonato?
R: Sólo es necesario que estés cuando tengas que competir o hacer de juez/runner/mezclador.

P: ¿Donde miro los resultados y si paso a la siguiente ronda?
R: Los tiempos y clasificaciones de la competición se subirán a esta página unos días después de la competición. Los resultados en directo los encontrarás en WCA Live.

FAQ

Q: How do I register?
A: First you need to make sure you have created a WCA account. You can do this by going to the sign-up page and creating an account. Once you have created the account and confirmed your email address, go to the Register section and follow the instructions carefully.

Q: Why am I not on the registration list yet?
A: Please make sure that you have followed the instructions in the Register section. You could also be on the waiting list. The competitor limit can be found on the General Info page, and you can see the number on accepted competitors on the Competitors page. If you have done everything correctly and the competition is not full then just be patient. We have to manually approve registrations and the organisers aren't available all the time. If you believe you have followed the steps correctly but still are not on the registration list after 2 days, then feel free to email us at the contact link on the General Info page.

Q: Can I change the events I am registered for?
A: Yes. You can edit it here until the end of the registration period.

Q: I am no longer able to attend, what do I do?
A: The first thing you need to do is tell us as soon as you know via the contact link on the General Info page. Competitions generally fill up quite quickly and letting us know that you can't attend means we can add someone from the waiting list. Once your registration is deleted, the organitzation team will manage the refound of part of your registration fee. You can see the percentage that will be refound here.

Q: How fast do I have to be to compete?
A: We recommend that you check out the Schedule tab - if you can make the time limit for the events you want to compete in, then you're fast enough! Loads of people come to competitions just to beat their own personal bests, and meet likeminded people, with no intention of winning or even making it past the first round.

Q: Are there different age categories?
A: All competitors compete on the same level and all ages are welcome. In general most are aged 10-20 but we have plenty of regulars who are older or younger than this!

Q: Do I use my own cubes to compete?
A: Yes! Make sure to bring cubes for all events you are competing in and look after them, you don't want them to go missing.

Q: Can I come only to spectate?
A: Yes! Spectating this competition will be free for everyone. Take a look at the schedule to come to see the events you are more interested in or to know when the finals are happening.

Q: What do I do when I arrive?
A: If you are a new competitor, don't miss the tutorial, please. You will be able to collect your accreditation later. Else, the first thing you should do when you arrive is find the registration desk if registration is open.

Q: When can I leave the competition?
A: It's only necessary to stay when you have to compete or be a judge/runner/scrambler.

Q: How do I find results?
A: All the results will be found on this page a couple of days after the competition, once they have all been checked and uploaded. If you are looking for live results, they can all be found on WCA Live.

Nous competidors

Si és el primer cop que competeixes, és important que et familiaritzis amb el Reglament. Aquest és una mica extens i conté molta informació dins, així que no pateixis si no te'n recordes de tot. Els nous competidors hauran de portar un document d'identitat que verifiqui el país de procedència i data de naixement. Pot ser tant el DNI com el llibre de família, el carnet de conduir, etc. Només cal que aparegui el teu nom complet, data de naixement i nacionalitat.

Si teniu alguna pregunta, us recomanem que consulteu la pestanya de "Preguntes Freqüents" abans de consultar-nos a nosaltres, encara que esteu més que convidats a escriure'ns al correu que apareix a la pàgina d'Informació General.

Informació per a tots els competidors

Si us plau, Ajuda a fer de jutge! Sempre acaben sent els mateixos els que fan de jutges. No és gens difícil fer-ho i ajudes que el campionat s'agilitzi! A les acreditacions que se us donaran amb la inscripció apareixen els grups en què esteu obligats a fer de jutge, però també podeu fer-ne encara que no us hi toqui. Si esteu interessats en aprendre a fer de jutge es farà un petit tutorial, tal com es mostra en l'horari.

Les fotos sense flash. Aquesta norma s'aplica a tot el recinte, ja que distreu molt als competidors.

Si ets un espectador, si us plau no entris a la zona de competició i sota cap concepte estiguis a menys de metre i mig d'una de les taules de competició (Regulation 7b).

Si us plau, cuida el lloc, mantingues la zona neta i el més ordenada possible.

Nuevos competidores

Si es la primera vez que compites, es importante que te vayas familiarizando con el Reglamento. Este Reglamento es algo extenso y contiene mucha información dentro, así que no te preocupes si no te acuerdas de todo. También haremos un pequeño tutorial tal y como se muestra en el horario, al que te recomendamos que asistas.

Los nuevos competidores tendrán que llevar un documento de identidad que verifique el país de procedencia y fecha de nacimiento. Puede ser tanto el DNI, como el libro de familia, el carnet de conducir, etc. Sólo es necesario que aparezca tu nombre completo, fecha de nacimiento y nacionalidad.

Si tienes alguna pregunta, te recomendamos que consultes la pestaña de "Preguntas Frecuentes" antes de consultarnos a nosotros, aunque estás más que bienvenido a escribirnos al correo que aparece en la página de Información General.

Información para todos los competidores

Por favor, ¡Ayuda a hacer de juez! Siempre terminan siendo los mismos los que hacen de juez. ¡No es nada difícil hacerlo y ayudas a que el campeonato se agilice! En las acreditaciones que se os darán con la inscripción aparecen los grupos en los que estáis obligados a hacer de juez, pero también podéis hacer de jueces aunque no os toque. Si estás interesado en aprender a hacer de juez se hará un pequeño tutorial el cu´sl aparece en el horario.

Las fotos sin flash. Esta norma se aplica a todo el recinto, ya que distrae mucho a los competidores.

Si eres un espectador, por favor no entres en la zona de competición y bajo ningún concepto estés a menos de metro y medio de una de las mesas de competición (Regulation 7b).

Por favor, cuida el lugar, mantén la zona limpia y lo más ordenada posible.

Hay miles de puzzles en estos campeonatos, no dejes cubos en las mesas de mezclas o de competición. ¡Mantén tus puzzles juntos para que no los pierdas!

Important Information

New Competitors

If you are a new competitor, it is important that you are familiar with the Regulations. The regulations are very long and are quite a lot to take in so don't worry if you don't remember it all! Because of this, we have a video that explains the competing procedure which we recommend to watch before attending: https://youtu.be/8O_iWRGq4K8 We will also be holding an introduction to competing as per the Schedule which we recommend you attend as well.

New competitors must bring some form of ID to show at the competition to confirm the country they wish to compete for and the date of birth registered with. The usual items of ID that people bring are Passports, Birth Certificates, Driver's Licenses, etc. As long as it has your name, date of birth, and country, then it will be fine.

Information for All Competitors

Please help judge! We rely very heavily on regular competitors to make the competition run to schedule. It is not very difficult to do and you help to do the championship faster!. If you'd like to learn the procedure then we will explain it in a tutorial as shown in the schedule.

No flash photography under any circumstance within the venue. It is extremely distracting for competitors.

If you are a spectator, please stay 1.5m away from competitors at all times as per (Regulation 7b).

Please treat the venue with respect, put all of your rubbish in bins or black bin bags and keep your area tidy.

There are thousands of puzzles at these events, make sure to keep yours together so you don't lose them!
