Este año se presenta por primera vez Baja Summer, una competencia pensada para ofrecer una experiencia fresca y diferente, centrada en los side-events para quienes buscan retos y formatos alternativos dentro del speedcubing.

En este evento se tomarán fotografías y videos que podrán ser usados por la Asociación Mexicana de Speedcubing y Baja Cubing con fines de promoción, documentación y difusión de nuestras actividades.

This year marks the debut of Baja Summer, a competition designed to bring a fresh and different experience, focused on side events for those looking for alternative challenges and formats within speedcubing.

Come and experience a unique atmosphere full of creativity, community, and excitement.

NOTICE OF FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY

Photos and videos will be taken at this event, which may be used by the Asociación Mexicana de Speedcubing and Baja Cubing for promotion, documentation, and dissemination of our activities.

By attending, you authorize the use of your image under the terms of our Privacy Notice.

Registration requirements: Create a WCA account here if you don't have one.
If this is not your first competition, associate your WCA ID to your WCA account here.
Register for this competition here.
There is a competitor limit of 50 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $150 (Mexican Peso).
The registration fee has to be paid through Stripe here once registered.
Registration fees won't be refunded under any circumstance.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until by contacting the organization team.
On the spot registrations will be accepted if there are remaining spots available, with a base registration fee of $200 (Mexican Peso).

Sigue todos los pasos descritos a continuación para realizar un registro correctamente

1. Inicia sesión en tu cuenta de la WCA, si aun no la tienes puedes dar click en Crear Cuenta

Si ya has participado en competencias anteriores, debes registrarte utilizando la cuenta que tiene asignado tu WCA id

2. Da click en la pestaña de Registrarse

3. Realiza el pago correspondiente a $150 M.N (Ciento Cincuenta Pesos Mexicanos) mediante tarjeta de Crédito o Débito

Si tienes algun problema al momento de realizar el pago, comunicate con el equipo organizador Baja Cubing

4. Una vez realizado el pago, despues de un lapso de 24 horas puedes revisar si apareces en la lista de Competidores

Esto es un proceso Manual, por lo que no seras aceptado de forma automatica o inmediata.

Permanece atento a tu email (revisa la bandeja de spam) por cualquier aviso importante.
Si el cupo de la competencia no se ha llenado, puedes registrarte a lista de espera, mira toda la información sobre esta lista en Lista de espera
Si el cupo aún no se llena, estaremos aceptando registros en el lugar de la sede, únicamente el día sábado 6 de junio, con una cuota de 200 pesos mexicanos (se acepta efectivo o transferencias bancarias)

Follow all the steps described below to register successfully

1. Log in to your WCA account, if you don't have it yet you can click on Create Account

If you have already participated in previous competitions, you must register using the account assigned to your WCA id.

2. Click on the Register tab

3. Make the payment corresponding to $150 M.N, (One Hundred and Fifty Mexican Pesos) by Credit or Debit card

If you have any problems when making payment, contact the organizing team Baja Cubing

4. Once the payment has been made, after a period of 24 hours you can check if you appear on the list of Competitors

This is a Manual process, so you will not be accepted automatically or immediately.

Congratulations!!! Your registration is completed.

Verify your email frecuently (including spam or junk email) for any important news.
If the competition quota has not been filled, you can register on the waiting list, see all the information about this list in Waiting List
If the quota is still not filled, we will be accepting registrations at the headquarters, only on Saturday, June 6, with a fee of 200 Mexican pesos (cash or bank transfers are accepted).

INFORMACIÓN DE LA LISTA DE ESPERA:	WAITING LIST INFORMATION:
Si se ha alcanzado el límite de 50 competidores, aún puedes registrarte y pagar la cuota de la competencia para asegurar un lugar en la lista de espera.	If the limit of 50 competitors has been reached, you can still register and pay the competition fee to secure a place on the waiting list.
Los competidores registrados en la lista de espera pueden ser aceptados en la lista de competidores hasta el sábado, 30 de mayo de 2026, 6:00 p.m. GMT-7.	Competitors registered on the waiting list may be accepted into the competitor list until Saturday, May 30, 2026, 6:00 p.m. GMT-7.
Si tu registro se elimina antes de sábado, 23 de mayo de 2026, 6:00 p.m. GMT-7 se te reembolsará un 40% de tu cuota de registro.	If your registration is deleted before Saturday, May 23, 2026, 6:00 p.m. GMT-7, you will be refunded 40% of your registration fee.
Estar en la lista de espera no asegura de ninguna manera obtener un lugar en la competencia.	Being on the waiting list does not guarantee a place in the competition.
Ningún competidor en lista de espera podrá participar los días de la competencia.	Any competitor on the waiting list will be able to participate on the days of the competition.
Si estás en lista de espera puedes solicitar el reembolso del 100% de tu pago en cualquier momento por correo.	At any moment, you can ask the 100% refound by email if you are in the waiting list.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
