Νέοι συμμετέχοντες

Εάν αυτός είναι ο πρώτος σας διαγωνισμός, τότε είναι σημαντικό να έχετε διαβάσει τους κανονισμούς. Οι κανόνες είναι πολλοί, συνεπώς, αν δεν τους θυμάστε όλους, δεν πειράζει.

Κατά την εκκίνηση του διαγωνισμού πρόκειται να γίνει μία μικρή επεξήγηση των κανόνων. Μην το χάσετε.

Οι νέοι συμμετέχοντες πρέπει να φέρουν μαζί τους ταυτότητα ή διαβατήριο ή Ληξιαρχική πράξη γέννησης ή κάποιο επίσημο έγγραφο στο οποίο θα αναγράφεται η ημερομηνία γέννησης και η χώρα την οποία θα εκπροσωπούν.

Πληροφορίες για κάθε διαγωνιζόμενο

• Παρακαλούμε βοηθήστε την διαδικασία όντας κριτής. Για να λειτουργήσει ομαλά ένας διαγωνισμός πρέπει όλοι να βοηθούμε και να συμμετέχουμε ενεργά. Εάν δείτε κάποια θέση κριτή άδεια, μην διστάσετε να την γεμίσετε. Εάν σας ζητηθεί να αναλάβετε λόγο κριτή και αρνηθείτε, μπορεί να αποβληθείτε από τον διαγωνισμό (κανονισμός 1e2). Επίσης, εάν είστε γονιός ή καλεσμένος κάποιου συμμετέχοντα και πάλι μπορείτε να βοηθήσετε, είναι πολύ απλό.
  
• Πάζλ από ανθρακονήματα δεν επιτρέπονται. Επίσης, διαβάστε τους κανόνες για τα λογότυπα των κύβων για να είστε σίγουροι.
• Όσο διαγωνίζεστε και αφού έχετε παραδώσει τον κύβο σας για μπλέξιμο, θα πρέπει να είστε αναγκαστικά στον χώρο διαγωνιζόμενων και να μην φεύγετε από εκεί μέχρι να ολοκληρώσετε τις λύσεις σας.
• Δεν επιτρέπεται να μιλάμε για τα μπλεξίματα ή τις λύσεις μας μέχρι την ολοκλήρωση του γύρου (κανονισμός 2g3 )
• Κατά την επίλυση με κλειστά μάτια πρέπει ο χώρος να έχει απόλυτη ησυχία.
• Απαγορεύονται τα φλας. Δυσκολεύουν πολύ τις λύσεις.
• Εάν είστε θεατής, παρακαλώ να είστε πάντα 1.5 μέτρο μακριά από τους διαγωνιζόμενους (κανονισμός 7b). Εάν θέλετε να τραβήξετε κάποιον που λύνει, παρακαλώ κάντε το από τον χώρο του κοινού.
• Σεβόμαστε τον χώρο που φιλοξενεί τον διαγωνισμό, πετάμε τα σκουπίδια σε κάδους και εάν προκύψει κάποια ζημιά ενημερώνουμε άμεσα τους διοργανωτές.
• Προσέχουμε τα παζλ μας. Όλοι θα έρθουν σε αυτόν τον χώρο με πολλά παζλ, είναι απίστευτα εύκολο να χαθεί κάποιο παζλ, οπότε να είστε προσεκτικοί.
• Θα τραβηχτούν φωτογραφίες και βίντεο από τον διαγωνισμό και από άλλους διαγωνιζόμενους και από την διοργάνωση, για social media, site κλπ. Ερχόμενοι στον διαγωνισμό αποδέχεσθε πως δεν έχετε πρόβλημα να είστε και εσείς σε τέτοιες φωτογραφίες ή βίντεο.

New Competitor Information

If you are a new competitor, it is important that you are familiar with the Regulations. The regulations are very long and are quite a lot to take in so don't worry if you don't remember it all! Because of this, we have a video that explains the competing procedure which we recommend to watch before attending: Competing Tutorial. We will also be holding an introduction to competing as per the Schedule which we recommend you attend as well.

New competitors must bring some form of ID to show at the competition to confirm the name, the country they wish to compete for, and the date of birth registered with. The usual items of ID that people bring are Passports, Birth Certificates, Driver's Licenses, etc. As long as it has your name, date of birth, and country, then it will be fine.

Information for All Competitors

• Please help judge! As a competitor, your judging assignments are the absolute minimum you should be doing to help out. As second rounds, third rounds and finals have no assigned judges, we really need people to help out whenever available for these. If you are directly asked to judge, please go and judge for the remainder of the round in progress. If you do not comply then we are within our rights to disqualify you from the competition as per Regulation 1e2. If you're a parent you can also get involved with running and juging, it's really easy!
• Please note that Carbon-Fiber puzzles are not permitted, and please make sure your cube complies with logo regulations!
• When you are competing and have handed in your puzzle, please make sure to be waiting in the designated area so that judges and runners do not have to come searching for you.
• Please DO NOT talk about the scrambles or your solutions whilst the round is in progress as per Regulation 2g3.
• During blindfolded events, please stay silent within the venue. These events require a high amount of concentration and any noise can be distracting. We will announce when the silence will begin and when you may talk within the venue again.
• No flash photography under any circumstance within the venue. It is extremely distracting for competitors.
• If you are a spectator, please stay 1.5m away from competitors at all times as per Regulation 7b. If you are filming someone competing, please stay out of the competitor area.
• Please treat the venue with respect, put all of your rubbish in bins, black bin bags, or take it home with you and keep your area tidy.
• There are thousands of puzzles at these events, make sure to keep yours together so you don't lose them! Keeping them in a bag and looking after it at all times is recommended.
• We will be taking videos and photographs of the competition and the environment for our social media pages and website. By attending the competition as a competitor or a guest, you are accepting that you may be filmed or photographed for these purposes.

Η συμμετοχή στον διαγωνισμό προϋποθέτει καταβολή ποσού 20,00€, το οποίο συμβάλλει στην κάλυψη μέρους των οργανωτικών εξόδων. Για να θεωρηθεί έγκυρη η εγγραφή, πρέπει να ολοκληρωθούν και τα δύο παρακάτω στάδια:

Η εγγραφή του συμμετέχοντα στον διαγωνισμό μέσω της αντίστοιχης πλατφόρμας.

Η πληρωμή του αντίστοιχου ποσού με χρήση τραπεζικής κάρτας στο σχετικό πεδίο που εμφανίζεται μετά την ολοκλήρωση της εγγραφής (μέσω της πλατφόρμας πληρωμών stripe).

Δεν προβλέπεται επιστροφή χρημάτων για κανέναν λόγο μετά την ολοκλήρωση της περιόδου εγγραφών, ακόμα και σε περίπτωση ακύρωσης συμμετοχής από τον διαγωνιζόμενο.

Οι διοργανωτές διατηρούν το δικαίωμα να ακυρώσουν οποιαδήποτε αίτηση συμμετοχής χωρίς προηγούμενη ειδοποίηση, χωρίς να προκύπτει κανένα δικαίωμα αποζημίωσης προς αυτούς ή προς την WCA, εφόσον δεν τηρηθούν οι παραπάνω όροι.

Οι θεατές που είναι άνω των 10 ετών πληρώνουν εισιτήριο 5,00€ κατά την είσοδό τους, το οποίο ισχύει για όλη τη διάρκεια του διαγωνισμού.

The participation fee for the competition is €20.00, which helps cover part of the event's expenses. An entry will only be accepted if both of the following steps are completed:

The participant has registered for the competition on the WCA website.

The entry fee has been paid successfully using a bank card through the payment section that appears after registration (via the Stripe platform).

Refunds are not available for any reason after the registration deadline, even if a participant decides to cancel their spot.

The organizers reserve the right to cancel any registration without prior notice. In such cases, participants will not have the right to request compensation or raise claims against the organizers or the WCA, especially if any of the rules mentioned above haven’t been followed.

Spectators aged over 10 must pay a one-time entrance fee of €5.00 at the venue, which covers access for the entire event.

Κάθε διαγωνιζόμενος φέρνει τα δικά του παζλ, τα οποία πρέπει να είναι σε καλή κατάσταση και να έχουν ένα λογοτυπο πάνω τους. Οι κανονισμοί λένε πιο αναλυτικά για το πώς πρέπει να είναι ένας κύβος, εάν έχετε απορία, παρακαλώ συμβουλευτείτε τους.
