¡Primera competición WCA durante 24 horas seguidas!
¿Nos gusta cubear? Sí. ¿Estamos locos? También, mucho. De ahí nace esta idea de competir sin parar durante 24 horas y dónde mejor que en Archena. Esta competición se desarrollará durante 24 horas sin parar desde las 12 del mediodía del sábado hasta las 12 del mediodía del domingo, sin descansos para comer ni mucho menos para dormir y tendrá las 17 categorías de la WCA.
Esperamos que te guste la idea y te sumes a esta locura, pero si no es así ten en cuenta que durante todo el año celebramos competiciones con horarios más normales. Por supuesto que puedes participar sólo en las categorías que sean a horas más habituales pero, ¿dónde está la gracia? Siempre puedes adaptar las categorías a las que te apuntes para tener descansos de noche o cuando quieras.
Para comer, cenar y desayunar recomendamos llevar comida o hacer pedidos para comer en alguna ronda en la que no compitas o durante cualquier hueco. Próximamente el equipo organizador proporcionarás más información sobre este asunto.
Y por último: ¿Por qué Clock categoría principal? Muy sencillo, queremos que los clocks marquen las 12 cada vez que sean las 12.
First WCA competition during 24 hours non-stop!
Do we like cubing? Yes. Are we crazy? Also yes, a lot. That's where this idea of competing without stopping for 24 hours was born and we couldn't think of a better location than Archena. This competition will run for 24 hours non-stop from 12 noon on Saturday to 12 noon on Sunday, with no breaks for eating nor sleeping and will hold all the 17 WCA events.
We hope you like the idea and join us with this madness, but if not, keep in mind that throughout the whole year we hold competitions with more normal schedules. Of course you can only participate in the events that are at the most usual hours, but where is the fun? You can always adapt the events you sign up for in order to have breaks at night or whenever you want.
For lunch, dinner and breakfast we recommend bringing food or ordering it to eat during a round in which you do not compete or during any gap. Soon the organizing team will provide more information on this matter.
And lastly: Why Clock as main event? Very simple, we want the clocks to show the 12 every time it's 12 o'clock.
ESPAÑOL
A Archena se puede llegar de varias formas. Lo ideal es ir en coche, pues es lo más directo y rápido desde cualquier punto, pero también existe estación de autobuses así como taxis que ofrecen sus servicios en el pueblo. Una vez en el pueblo hay que llegar al Centro cultural Ramón Centenero (C. Virgen de la Salud, 48, 30600 Archena, Murcia).
COCHE
En coche se puede llegar a través de la autovía A-30 dirección Carretera de Archena/N-301 en Región de Murcia. Después toma la salida 121 desde A-30. Sigue por Carretera de Archena/N-301 hasta poder tomar la RM-554 hacia C. Farmacéutico Sánchez H en Archena.
TRANSPORTE PÚBLICO
Si vienes de cualquier parte de España (o incluso de fuera), el punto de partida puede ser Murcia, donde hay tanto estación de tren como de autobús. Desde allí, se puede coger un autobús que te deje en Archena (línea MUR-192-1). Para más información sobre el transporte público se puede consultar Moovit y https://www.estaciondeautobusesdemurcia.com/.
ENGLISH
There are several ways to arrive to Archena. The best idea is to go by car, as it is the most direct and fastest way to arrive from any point of the map, but there is also a bus station as well as taxis that offer their services in the town. Once in there, go to Centro cultural Ramón Centenero (C. Virgen de la Salud, 48, 30600 Archena, Murcia).
CAR
By car it can be reached through the A-30 highway towards Carretera de Archena/N-301 in the Region of Murcia. Then take exit 121 from A-30. Follow Carretera de Archena/N-301 until you can take the RM-554 towards C. Farmacéutico Sánchez H in Archena.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
If you come from anywhere in Spain (or even from outside), the starting point can be Murcia, where there is both: a train station and a bus station. From there, you can take a bus that leaves you in Archena (line MUR-192-1). For more information on public transport, you can consult Moovit and https://www.estaciondeautobusesdemurcia.com/.
Preguntas frecuentes
P: ¿Cómo me registro?
R: En primer lugar tienes que asegurarte de que tengas creada una cuenta de la WCA. Si no es así, se puede hacer de manera muy sencilla haciendo click en "registrarse" y creándote una. Una vez hecho esto, vete a la pestaña Registro y sigue los pasos correspondientes.
P: ¿Por qué no aparezco en la lista de competidores?
R: Por favor, asegúrate de haber seguido todas las instruciones de la pestaña Registro. También es posible que estés en la lista de espera. El limite de competidores puedes verlo en la página Información General y la lista de competidores en Competidores. Si crees haber hecho todo correctamente y aun así no apareces, ten paciencia. Los registros se aprueban de manera manual y los Delegados y organizadores no están disponibles en todo momento. Si tu registro no se ha aceptado pasados dos días, mándarnos un correo.
P: ¿Puedo cambiar los eventos a los que me presento?
R: Sí. Puedes editar tu registro aquí hasta el cierre del registro.
P: Ya no puedo asistir, ¿qué debo hacer?
R: Lo primero que tienes que hacer es informarnos vía email tan pronto como lo sepas para que otro competidor pueda ocupar tu lugar. No podemos ofrecer reembolsos ya que pagar la tarifa de registro es un contrato de compromiso.
P: ¿Cómo de rápido tengo que ser para poder competir?
R: Te recomendamos que mires la tabla del horario para informarte de los tiempos límite de cada prueba. La mayoría de gente va a las competiciones para conocer a gente con la que comparten esta afición sin importar los tiempos o sencillamente a tratar de mejorar sus propios tiempos personales, ¡todo el mundo es apto para competir y pasarlo bien!
P: ¿Hay categorías para diferentes edades?
R: Todos los competidores participan en las mismas condiciones y participantes de todas las edades son bienvenidos. La mayoría de gente suele tener unos 15-20 años, pero también hay gente más joven y más mayor.
P: ¿Tengo que usar mis propios cubos para competir?
R: ¡Sí! Asegúrate de traer puzzles para todos los eventos en los que compitas y no los pierdas de vista.
P: ¿Puedo ir simplemente como espectador?
R: Sí, además la entrada es completamente gratuita para los espectadores. Echa un vistazo al horario del campeonato para que puedas venir a ver los eventos que más te interesen o enterarte de cuando son las finales.
P: ¿Cúando debo estar en el campeonato?
R: Recomendamos que te inscribas dentro de los plazos de inscripción que hay asignados en el horario. Si eres un nuevo competidor, te recomendamos encarecidamente que asistas al tutorial de competición que haremos el sábado a primera hora. Si no, está siempre al menos 15 minutos antes de que empiece la primera ronda en la que compitas.
P: ¿Qué debo hacer cuando llegue?
R: Lo primero que hay que hacer es ir a la mesa de registro para que te podamos dar los regalos de inscripción y la acreditación.
P: ¿Debo estar durante todo el campeonato?
R: Sólo es necesario que estés cuando tengas que competir o hacer de juez/runner/mezclador.
P: ¿Donde miro los resultados y si paso a la siguiente ronda?
R: Los tiempos y clasificaciones de la competición se subirán a esta página unos días después de la competición. Los resultados en directo los encontrarás en WCA Live.

Q: How do I register?
A: First you need to make sure you have created a WCA account. You can do this by going to the sign-up page and creating an account. Once you have created the account and confirmed your email address, go to the Register section and follow the instructions carefully.
Q: Why am I not on the registration list yet?
A: Please make sure that you have followed the instructions in the Register section. You could also be on the waiting list. The competitor limit can be found on the General Info page, and you can see the number on accepted competitors on the Competitors page. If you have done everything correctly and the competition is not full then just be patient. We have to manually approve registrations and the organisers aren't available all the time. If you believe you have followed the steps correctly but still are not on the registration list after 2 days, then feel free to email us at the contact link on the General Info page.
Q: Can I change the events I am registered for?
A: Yes. You can edit your registration here until the end of the registration period.
Q: I am no longer able to attend, what do I do?
A: The first thing you need to do is tell us as soon as you know via the contact link on the General Info page. Competitions generally fill up quite quickly and letting us know that you can't attend means we can add someone from the waiting list. We cannot offer refunds if you can no longer attend as paying the registration fee is a commitment contract.
Q: How fast do I have to be to compete?
A: We recommend that you check out the schedule tab - if you can make the time limit for the events you want to compete in, then you're fast enough! Loads of people come to competitions just to beat their own personal bests, and meet likeminded people, with no intention of winning or even making it past the first round.
Q: Are there different age categories?
A: All competitors compete on the same level and all ages are welcome. In general most are aged 10-20 but we have plenty of regulars who are older or younger than this!
Q: Do I use my own cubes to compete?
A: Yes! Make sure to bring cubes for all events you are competing in and look after them, you don't want them to go missing.
Q: Can I come only to spectate?
A: Yes! Spectating this competition will be free for everyone. Take a look at the schedule to come to see the events you are more interested in or to know when the finals are happening.
Q: When do I arrive at the competition?
A: We recommend you to register on the time frames dedicated to that regard, which you can find on the schedule tab. If you are a new competitor, we highly recommend that you show up for the introduction to competing which is held as the first thing on Saturday. Otherwise, we recommend you turn up at least 15 minutes before your first event.
Q: What do I do when I arrive?
A: The first thing you do when you arrive is find the registration desk if registration is open.
Q: When can I leave the competition?
A: It's only necessary to stay when you have to compete or be a judge/runner/scrambler.
Q: How do I find results?
A: All the results will be found on this page a couple of days after the competition, once they have all been checked and uploaded. If you are looking for live results, they can all be found on WCA Live.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
