Atenção a inscrição só é confirmada após ter sido efetuado o pagamento. Após o pagamento, as inscrições têm de ser aprovadas manualmente antes de aparecerem na lista de inscritos.

Novos competidores:

Se esta vai ser a tua primeira competição, bem vindo! Antes da competição há algumas coisas importantes que precisas de saber:
* No dia da competição deves trazer um documento de identificação que verifique o país de origem, data de nascimento e nome completo.
* Deves estar familiarizado com o Regulamento WCA. O regulamento é muito grande e não te preocupes porque não tens de saber tudo, mas deve ser lido pelo menos uma vez antes da competição. Por isso, recomendamos a visualização de um tutorial em vídeo (vídeo (EN), vídeo (PT), vídeo (ES)), que explica o processo de competição tal como ler os tutoriais da WCA para competidores e juízes.
* Recomendamos que todos os novos competidores assistam ao Tutorial (ver cronograma).
* Se tiveres alguma questão, consulta a página de Perguntas Frequentes antes de nos contactares, mas está à vontade para nos contactar no link de contacto em Informações Gerais.

Todos os competidores:

• Por favor, ajuda a ajuizar! Vamos precisar da ajuda de todos os competidores para facilitar o andamento da competição, portanto é muito importante que cumpram as tarefas que são atribuídas pelos membros do staff. Se estás interessado em aprender a ajuizar vai haver um tutorial antes da competição começar.
• Não é permitido tirar fotos com flash em qualquer circunstância no local da competição. Isto distrai muito os competidores.
• Se és um espectador, mantém uma distância de um metro e meio das mesas de competição ou ocupa os lugares destinados aos espectadores.
• Não é permitido falar sobre os embaralhamentos ou sobre as suas soluções enquanto estiver a decorrer a ronda.

New competitors:

If this is going to be your first competition, welcome! Before the competition there are some things you need to know:
* On the day of the competition new competitors must bring an identification document which verifies the name, the country they wish to compete for, and the date of birth.
* You must be familiarized with the WCA Regulationa. The regulations are very long, but don't worry, you don't need to know everything. However, it should be read at least once before the competition. Because of this, we recommend to watch this a video tutorial (video (EN), video (PT), video (ES)), that explains the competing procedure which as well as to read the WCA official competitors and judges tutorials.
* We recommend that all new competitors attend the Tutorial (see schedule).
* If you have any questions please look at the FAQ page before contacting us, but you are more that welcome to contact us any time through the contact link in General Information.

All competitors:

• Please help judge! We rely on help from all competitors to ensure that the competition runs on schedule, therefore it is very important that you fulfil the tasks which are assigned to you by the Staff members. If you are interested in learning how to judge there will be a tutorial before the competition starts.
• Please do not take photos with flash turned on anywhere inside the venue. This is very distracting to competitors.
• If you are a spectator, please stay 1.5 meters away from the competition tables.
• Do not discuss scrambles or your solutions while the round is still in progress.

P: Como é que eu me inscrevo?
R: Primeiro deves criar uma conta no site da WCA. Podes fazer isso acedendo à página Entrar e criando uma conta. Assim que tiveres criado uma conta e confirmado o endereço de e-mail, segue o menu, acede à página Inscrever e segue as instruções cuidadosamente.

P: Porque é que não apareço na lista de inscritos?
R: Certifica-te de que seguiste bem as instruções na página Inscrever. Também é possível que estejas na lista de espera. O limite de competidores pode ser encontrado na página Informações gerais e podes ver o número de competidores aceites em Competidores. Se fizeste tudo corretamente e o limite de competidores ainda não foi atingido, sê paciente. As inscrições têm de ser aprovadas manualmente e os organizadores não estão sempre disponíveis. Se acreditas que seguiste as instruções corretamente e ainda não te encontras inscrito ao fim de 2 dias, então envia-nos um email no link de contacto em Informações gerais.

P: Já não posso ir, o que faço?
R: A primeira coisa que deves fazer é entrar em contacto connosco através do email no link de contacto na página Informações gerais, assim que possível, para que um outro competidor na lista de espera possa tomar o teu lugar.

P: Quão rápido preciso de ser para competir?
R: Nós recomendamos que consultes a secção do horário - se consegues atingir os tempos limite para os eventos em que queres competir, és rápido o suficiente! Muitas pessoas frequentam competições para melhorar os seus recordes pessoais, e conhecer novas pessoas da comunidade, sem intenção de ganhar ou até passar da 1ª ronda.

P: Devo usar os meus próprios cubos para competir?
R: Sim. Certifica-te de que trazes cubos para todos os eventos em que vais competir.

P: O que devo fazer quando chegar?
R: A primeira coisa que deves fazer quando chegares é procurar a mesa de registo se o registo estiver aberto. Se chegares antes de o registo abrir, nós faremos um anúncio quando estiver aberto. Se não estiver ninguém presente na mesa de registo então procura um membro da staff e nós trataremos de registar-te.

P: Posso aparecer só para assistir?
R: Sim, e a entrada é gratuita para espetadores.

P: Há categorias para idades diferentes?
R: Todos os competidores participam ao mesmo nível e participantes de todas as idades são bem vindos. A maioria dos competidores tem entre 10 e 20 anos, mas também há gente mais nova e mais velha.

P: Quando posso sair da competição?
R: Só é preciso ficares na competição quando tiveres de competir ou quando estiveres destacado para ajuízar/correr/baralhar.

P: Onde posso consultar os resultados e se consigo passar à próxima ronda?
R: Todos os resultados vão estar na página da competição, assim que forem verificados e atualizados. Resultados em direto podem ser consultados na página WCA Live. As classificações NÃO são definitivas até que a ronda esteja concluída.

P: Onde posso consultar os grupos em que vou competir?
R: Para as primeiras rondas em que estiveres inscrito, irão entregar-te no dia da competição as informações sobre as rondas em que vais competir/ajuízar/correr/baralhar, mas essa informação também será enviada por email alguns dias antes da competição. Para as rondas seguintes, poderás consultar o site Competition Groups onde essa informação estará disponível.

FAQ

Q: How do I register?
A: First you need to make sure you have created a WCA account. You can do this by going to the sign-up page and creating an account. Once you have created the account and confirmed your email address, go to the Register section and follow the instructions carefully.

Q: Why am I not on the registration list yet?
A: Please make sure that you have followed the instructions in the Register section. You could also be on the waiting list. The competitor limit can be found on the General Info page, and you can see the number of accepted competitors on the Competitors page. If you have done everything correctly and the competition is not full then just be patient. We have to manually approve registrations and the organizers aren't available all the time. If you believe you have followed the steps correctly but still are not on the registration list after 2 days, then feel free to email us at the contact link on the General Info page.

Q: I am no longer able to attend, what do I do?
A: The first thing you need to do is tell us as soon as you know via the contact link on the General Info page. Competitions generally fill up quite quickly and letting us know that you can't attend means we can add someone from the waiting list.

Q: How fast do I have to be to compete?
A: We recommend that you check out the schedule tab - if you can make the time limit for the events you want to compete in, then you're fast enough! Loads of people come to competitions just to beat their own personal bests, and meet likeminded people, with no intention of winning or even making it past the first round.

Q: Do I use my own cubes to compete?
A: Yes! Make sure to bring cubes for all events you are competing in and look after them, you don't want them to go missing.

Q: What do I do when I arrive?
A: The first thing you do when you arrive is find the registration desk if registration is open. If you arrive before registration opens, we will make an announcement as to when it does open. If there is nobody present at the registration desk then find a staff member and we will make sure to register you.

Q: Can I come only to spectate?
A: Yes, and spectators may attend for free.

Q: Are there different age categories?
A: All competitors compete on the same level and all ages are welcome. In general most are aged 10-20 but we have plenty of regulars who are older or younger than this!

Q: When can I leave the competition?
A: It's only necessary to stay when you have to compete or be a judge/runner/scrambler.

Q: Where do I find the results and if I proceed to the next round?
A: All the results will be found on this page a couple of days after the competition, once they have all been checked and uploaded. Live results can be found on WCA Live. Rankings are NOT definitive until the round is completely over.

Q: Where can I see what groups I compete in?
A: For the first rounds of the events you have registered for, you will receive an ID badge with the groups where you will have to compete/run/judge/scramble, but this information will also be sent by email some days before the competition. For the subsquent rounds, you can check Competition Groups where that information will be available.

Lista de Espera

Se o limite de competidores for atingido, pessoas que se registaram e pagaram a taxa de registo serão colocadas na lista de espera, que pode ser consultada aqui. Se um lugar ficar disponível, será preenchido pela primeira pessoa na lista de espera. Se está na lista de espera e sabe que não vai poder estar presente na competição, por favor contacte a organização para podermos apagar o seu registo e a sua taxa de registo será devolvida na totalidade. Se depois de o registo fechar está na lista de espera, a taxa de registo será devolvida na totalidade.

Waiting List

If the limit of competitors fills up, people who register and pay the registration fee will be put on the waiting list, which can be consulted here. If a spot becomes available, it will be given to the first on the waiting list. If you are on the waiting list and know that you can no longer attend, please contact the organizers so that we can delete your registration, and your registration fee will be fully refunded. If after closing your registration you have not been accepted, your full registration fee will be refunded.

APS Associates

If you wish to take advantage of an exclusive 20% discount as an APS associate send us your associate number within a maximum of 2 days after your registration. We will make a refund for 20% of the registration value.

If you're not an associate yet you can send us an email, within a maximum of 2 days and fill the sign up form here. You will have about a week to complete this process.

A competição realiza-se na Escola Básica Castro Matoso, situada a cerca de 1,7 km da estação de comboios, com uma paragem de autocarros da linha 8 quase em frente à escola.

O check-in realizar-se-á na entrada do pavilhão desportivo. Existem muitos lugares de estacionamento nas proximidades.

De carro:
O acesso a Aveiro faz-se principalmente pela autoestrada A1, saindo em Aveiro Norte (para quem vem do norte) ou Aveiro Sul (para quem vem do sul), seguindo depois pela A25 em direção à cidade.
Também é possível chegar a Aveiro pela A25 (vindo de leste, desde Vilar Formoso), pela A17 (a partir da zona costeira sul) ou pela A29 (para quem se desloca pela Costa de Prata, desde o norte). A escola situa-se a alguns minutos das saídas da autoestrada.

De autocarro:
A partir da Estação de Autocarros, o acesso à escola faz-se em cerca de 11 minutos de carro, Táxi ou TVDE.

De comboio:
Através da Estação de Comboios das Quintãs, é uma caminhada de 23 min (1,7 km), ou 3 min de carro, Táxi ou TVDE.

The competition will take place at the Castro Matoso Basic School, located approximately 1.7 km from the train station, with a bus stop for line 8 almost opposite the school.

Check-in will take place at the entrance to the sports hall. There are many parking spaces nearby.

By car:
Access to Aveiro is mainly via the A1 motorway, exiting at Aveiro Norte (for those coming from the north) or Aveiro Sul (for those coming from the south), then following the A25 towards the city.

It is also possible to reach Aveiro via the A25 (coming from the east, from Vilar Formoso), the A17 (from the southern coastal area) or the A29 (for those traveling along the Silver Coast, from the north). The school is located a few minutes from the motorway exits.

By bus:
From the Bus Station, access to the school takes about 11 minutes by car, taxi or ride-hailing service.

By train:
From Quintãs Train Station, it is a 23-minute walk (1.7 km), or 3 minutes by car, taxi or ride-hailing service.
