Incident: Several rounds were found to have several misscrambles

Status: Resolved

Incident description and resolution:

After a competition, a large number of misscrambles was found to be sent out during certain rounds of several events. In particular, a lot of misscrambles happened during 3x3x3 Cube Final, Pyraminx Final, and 3x3x3 One-Handed Final.

Altghough many attempts during the mentioned rounds were done using correct scrambles, and therefore were valid, the outcome of the internal WRC voting was to remove all affected rounds as the number of misscrambles was large. The decision resulted in the removal of 3x3x3 One-Handed event, change in Pyraminx event format from two rounds to one round, and in the change in 3x3x3 Cube event format from three rounds to two rounds.
