Incident: Timer was reset before the result was recorded (only video evidence showing the display was available)

Incident description and resolution:

After a competitor finished their solve, the timer was reset by either the judge (Montpellier Open 2022) or by the timer itself (Bay Area Speedcubin' 29 PM 2022 and Rose City 2022) before the result was fully recorded on the score sheet. The video evidence showed the display but not the timer.

Since the display was clearly shown in the evidence and it was working fine through the solve, WRC agreed that the original result shown on the display may stand.

Please note that as per Regulation A7b1 the result must always be recorded from the timer, but not from the display:

A7b1) If penalties are assigned, the judge records the original recorded time displayed on the timer, along with any penalties...

The time from the display may be accepted when the one from the timer is unavailable only under certain circumstances (see the following incident log).
