Incident: The "Nod-don" technique was used for Blindfolded Solving (extra not available)

A competitor who used the nod-don technique contacted the delegate after the competition because he thought he may have been close to starting the first turn before the blindfold was fully donned (possibly against regulations B4a and B4b).

B4a) The competitor dons the blindfold to start the blindfolded phase.

B4b) The competitor must not apply moves to the puzzle before they have fully donned the blindfold. Penalty: disqualification of the attempt (DNF).

After analyzing video evidence at full speed, the WRC came to the conclusion that the competitor is not likely to have gained an advantage, thus allowing the solve to remain valid.
