Incident: Missing signatures found after the competition

Both the competitor's and the judge's signatures were found missing for one attempt in Skewb after the competition. The WRC decided to change the result to DNF.

This incident is violating and ignoring A7b and A7c. More concrete, the judge did not acknowledge that the result is correct, complete, properly formatted, and clearly readable and the competitor did not check and sign the result. These are the steps to finish an attempt.

Although this can be seen as a harsh decision, we believe that these are important regulations to assure the correctness and validness result. For that reason, accepting results which were done without following A7b and A7c, should not be accepted as valid results.
