Incident: Timer deducted 10 seconds off of total time while running

During a solve, a competitor's timer malfunctioned and the tens-place digit of the timer suddenly changed from 1 to 0, thus causing 10 seconds to be deducted from the total time while the timer was running. The final recorded result of the attempt was consistent with the time shown on the malfunctioned timer. No extra attempt was given.

After analyzing the footage utilizing framecounting, and an internal discussion, as well as consulting the WRT, the WRC has decided to add 10 seconds to the original result instead of issuing a DNF.
