Regulation conflict with puzzles with tiles

Hi, Here is a little conflict that I found inside the regulations. It's about legal puzzles with tiles. We've got those two rules. [quote:3sbf8r4y]3f) Stickers/tiles/textures/paint must not be thicker than 1.5 mm, or the generally available thickness for non cube puzzles.[/quote:3sbf8r4y] [quote:3sbf8r4y]3h) No modifications are allowed that enhance the basic concept of a puzzle. Some examples [...], more pieces are visible, colours on the backside of the puzzle are visible, [...].[/quote:3sbf8r4y] With large tiles like those you can find directly on MF8 Megaminx or Meffert's puzzles. It is possible (though difficult) to sneak on colours on the backside(s). I know that it's a very small problem but as the regulation must be very strict, this point should be a bit clearer. As I wrote those lines I noted that in 3h : Why is there the word "modification" ? For instance, the GuHong without sticker is not a modification of the Rubik's cube, it's made like this. It is not a modification made by the cuber. But it allows more visibility on the backside for instance (45º angle) therefore it is not allowed.

I can't see the inconsistency. The tiles regulation is to prevent big fat tiles that can be seen from the front of the cube. The no modifications rule is so that the puzzle must be solved in the way it's intended to be solved. These regulations actually work together to prevent people from cheating.
