In both of my Pyraminxes, there is one loose tip which frequently turns on its own. Since the tips are not scrambled, does a rotated tip count as a +2? Also, could the tips be glued so that they don't move because they aren't part of the scrambled puzzle? - Ted

The tips ARE scrambled and in my opinion are enough of a part of the event to merit a +2 if not solved.

Oh, sorry. I thought that they weren't. The last time I solved a pyraminx was in 2007, so my thoughts are sketchy.
