New Event Idea: Fifteen Puzzle

What do you think about adding the Fifteen Puzzle as an event in competition? It's probably the second-most popular puzzle toy after the Rubik's Cube, and it seems to fit in with the rest of the puzzles used as events in the WCA. - Ted

May I ask how this fits in with the rest of the puzzles? I don't even know if it would classify as a "twisty" puzzle because it only moves in two dimensions.

oh yeah, and magic is a puzzle  I think it's a great idea, since 15 is a puzzle, and is very popular, and I have one
oh yeah, and magic is a puzzle[/quote:2bq6x36r] Can you show us how to solve the Rubik's magic in only two dimensions?
and I have one[/quote:2bq6x36r] Yeah, that's a really good reason. Personally I've met more then 400 cubers, and never seen any of them playing with that puzzle. In my opinion it's not that popular, around cubers, I see skewb being an official event before this. Personally I don't like the idea adding this event.

but the 15 is a puzzle, 3D or 2D that doesn't matters, you can scramble and solve the 15, just like other puzzles, besides it's very popular, and anyone can solve it It can easily be an official event and I know a lot of cubers (like 200) and just 2 or 3 solve the skebw, a lot know how to, and a lot of them have and solve the 15
