Hi, I would like to suggest to have "New event category for this forum" on this site separately from regulation category. I found suggestion of 2x2x2 BLD, square1 BLD, Head-to-Head Live Fewest-Moves Event , Skweb. Unfortunately, those are getting varied. I think many people must have their own ideas of new events. But most of the cases they can't find those who are also interested in such events. If there are only a few people interested in, it is difficult to add to official events. But if we could have some place to present ideas and discuss competition formats each other, many others will know what kind of events are suggested and may get interested in. Currently, there are no good place to discuss and promote these events. We can post to somewhere in WCA forum or Yahoo groups but I think it is better to set separate category from others. Masayuki Akimoto I would like to push Mirror blocks for future official event. So I would suggest to set "New event" category. And I would like to host "Mirror blocks".

This is a nice way of getting new events. Seperate from the Regulations because those are not regulations. I would have to disagree with mirror blocks. It would be a nice unofficial side event but not a real official event.
