I was just wondering how a 3 day competition could happen with only the rubik's cube speedsolve. I tried looking on their website to see the schedule, but it was all in thailand language(i don't know what its called). So could anyone tell me how that could happen?

1 stackmat timer and 100 competitors. Do the math.

That divides out to 100 competitors for every 1 stackmat. Wow.

There are special circumstances because it is the first official competition and because a large external party is involved. The first two days are qualification days. They are trying to attract a lot of young students those days. For now we think only the third day will be run under official conditions. Of course I am trying to have more events. Ron

Ron[/quote:3523xo9r] you might just want to have only rubik's cube type events such as fewest moves, OH, or feet. I am suggesting only these types because since it is thailand's 1st, many people may not know how to solve other puzzles and there would only be like 2 people in the event. PS i think feet cubing is pointless...

I think we will have about 150-200 students(this competition just for student) to compete. However, I try to have Open compete or other puzzles, but organiser don't want it. -This is not Thailand Open(will have soon). It's name is NSM 2009. - You could see video NSM2008 followed link .
