Would my cube be tournament legal?

I was just curious as I thought it would be until I read that a "normal" color scheme would be required.. Normal as in, solid colors on each side that are distinct from one another, or normal as in red/yellow/white/green/blue/orange? My cube is White/Yellow, Green/Blue, Black/Gray. All are stickers and have the same texture and thickness.

I don't see how a different color scheme would hurt. Besides, if someone is red/green colorblind, they would want to change colors.

Also, in case unusual color schemes are considered "normal" by WCA, are they also allowed at RWC 2007? And, does it allow cubes with a normal color scheme but using non-Rubik's brand stickers? Most of my cubes don't have branded stickers at all (they're from Cubesmith and don't have logos). I'm asking because of this:
":oov3zmc2]all Rubik's label cube events (2x2, 3x3, 4x4, 5x5) only the official Rubik's brands are allowed.[/quote:oov3zmc2] P.S. Sweet, I can nest tags and use a link in the quote source...

Hi! I've got a cube with textured cubesmith stickers, but I do not like the orange one, and I've replaced them with original Studio stickers. I just want to use this cube as a speedcube for normal events (not blindsolving). My question is: Can I use this cube in a competition? Or is this situation is the same as the case with transpanent cubes? Thanks for your ansver!

Hi! There are a lot of shops on the internet where I can buy cubes, even DIY cubes. They are wery good quality, but they are not manufactured under the license of 7towns or Rubik's. According to the WCA regulations, I cannot play with theese kind of cube. But after I resticker rhem, How can someone tell, that my DIY cube is different from the original one? Or I can ask: In competitions, there will be someone, who will decide, wheter my cube is OK or not? How can someone decide? Thanks for your answer!
According to the WCA regulations, I cannot play with theese kind of cube. [/quote:4hujyjtx] I believe brands are no longer part of the regulations. Some competitions may have restrictions, but the WCA regulations themselves don't say anything.

What if, hypothetically, I took my multicolored DIY cubes and assembled a cube with different colored cubies? Would that be allowed in competition? I found these rules that may possibly apply to this situation: [quote:lx2buvf6]3d) Competitors must use any normal colour scheme for cube puzzles, as long as the puzzles show 1 colour per face in solved state. For other puzzles competitors must use any variation that has the same moves, positions and solutions as the original puzzle. 3e) The colours of puzzles must be solid, the same per colour, and clearly distinct from other colours. ... 3k) Puzzles must be clean and must not have any textures, markings, elevated pieces, damages, or other differences that distinguish one piece from a similar piece.[/quote:lx2buvf6] I interpret this in which "colours" refer to the stickers of the puzzle. But would it violate rule 3k? I am unsure of what "other differences" embodies, and what "piece" refers to.
