The World Cube Association is excited to announce that the WCA World Championship 2025 is just around the corner! From July 3rd to July 6th, over 2,000 competitors from 74 countries will gather in Seattle, USA, for the largest official speedcubing competition in WCA history.

Held every two years, the World Championship brings the global cubing community together — not just to celebrate the passion we all share, but also to crown the world’s best speedcubers. And with everything planned for 2025, this edition is going to be the most exciting one yet.

What to Expect

This year’s event is more than just fast solves and world-class competition — it’s a celebration of the entire cubing community. The championship will be livestreamed on the WCA’s official YouTube channel, giving fans around the world the chance to follow the action live.

Founded in 2004, the World Cube Association (WCA) is the official governing body for competitive speedcubing. It sets standardized rules, tracks official records, and fuels a thriving community across 165 countries. In its 20 year history, there have been over 14,000 sanctioned competitions and 265,197 unique participants at WCA competitions.
