After recent voting by WCA staff members, the proposed amendments to the Motions have been approved by a good majority. The Motions are effective as of June 1, 2019, and a summary of the included changes has been compiled below:

• Motion 02.2019.1 - Definitions - Added the definition of Policy and Regional Delegate.
• Motion 04.2019.1 - Board of Directors - The right to instate and remove Regional Delegates has been added to the rights of the WCA Board of Directors.
• Motion 06.2019.1 - Regional Organizations - Added more requirements for the application of a Regional Organization.
• Motion 09.2019.1 - Senior Delegates - Added the right to appoint and demote Regional Delegates.
• Motion 10.2019.0 - Committees and Teams - Clarified the conditions for the approval vote to pass when appointing a new Committee/Team Leader.
• Motion 10.2019.1 - WCA Competition Announcement Team - Explicitly link to the “WCA Competition Requirements Policy” and clarify that competition data and metadata can be edited.
• Motion 10.2019.2 - WCA Disciplinary Committee - Clarified that Registered Speedcubers must cooperate with investigations.
• Motion 10.2019.3 - WCA Ethics Committee - Clarified that WCA Staff must abide by the Code of Ethics.
• Motion 10.2019.4 - WCA Quality Assurance Committee - Changed some definitions and procedure to better define the scope of the WQAC.
• Motion 11.2019.1 - Finances of the WCA - Modified the details regarding the auditing of the finances and added the details of filing the returns.

Along with the above changes, two new Motions have been added:
