Querida comunidad: Esta será la tercera edición de Melipilla Open y estamos contentos por llevar a cabo el segundo torneo luego de la reapertura, nos tendremos que adaptar a la nueva normalidad, pero siempre teniendo el espíritu de cualquier otro torneo.

The base registration fee for this competition is $5,000 (Chilean Peso).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee.

If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until by contacting the organization team.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Spectators are only permitted as companions of competitors.

Para poder participar en el campeonato debes completar el proceso de registro. Para completar el proceso de registro debes seguir los siguientes pasos en orden:

1.- Inscribirse en la lista de espera de la competencia en la página web de la WCA. Para ello necesitaras crear o tener una cuenta del sitio web WCA.

2.- Debes pagar la cuota de inscripcion de $5.000 pesos chilenos a la siguiente cuenta bancaria:

3.- Luego de pagar la cuota de inscripcion deberá enviar un correo electrónico crubikchile@gmail.com con el nombre completo del competidor y adjuntando una captura de pantalla del comprobante de pago.

4.- Se enviará un correo electrónico de confirmación al competidor una vez completado correctamente los 3 pasos anteriores en orden. Solo entonces el competidor aparecerá en la lista de registros aprobados en el sitio web de la WCA para la competencia. La aceptación de la inscripción se realizará en el mismo orden de llegada de los correos con la imagen del comprobante de pago.

La fecha límite para el pago y el envío del comprobante de pago es un minuto despues de las 23:59 del Lunes 29 de Noviembre de 2021, hora de Chile continental, o cuando se alcance el límite de 50 competidores, lo que suceda primero.

Los cambios en los eventos registrados se aceptarán únicamente hasta el último día de registro. Después de eso, no habrá cambios en los participantes de un evento.

No se aceptarán inscripciones en el lugar de la competencia.

Para competidores internacionales, comuníquese con el Delegado para organizar el pago en el lugar.

To be able to participate in the competition you must complete the registration process. To complete the registration process, the following steps must be followed in order:

1.- Register on the waiting list of the competition on the WCA web page. You have to create or have an WCA website account.

2.- You must pay the registration fee of $5.000 CLP to the following chilean bank account:

3.- After paying the registration fee you must send an email crubikchile@gmail.com with the full name of the competitor and attaching an screenshot of the proof of payment.

4.- A confirmation email will be sent to the competitor once completed correctly the previous 3 steps in order. Only then the competitor will appear in the approved registrations list in the WCA website for the competition.
Acceptance of the registration will be made in the same order of arrival of the mails with the image of the proof of payment .

The deadline for payment and mailing the proof of payment is Tuesday, November 30 at 03:00 UTC or when the limit of 50 competitors it's reached, whatever happens first.

Changes in registered events will be accepted until the last day of registration only. After that there will be no changes in the participants of an event.

Registration will not be accepted on spot of the competition.

Protocolo Melipilla Open 2021

1. Introducción

1.1. Este documento detalla los protocolos sanitarios de la competencia, dándose por entendido que el lector tiene nociones básicas de cómo se desarrolla una competencia. Los competidores aceptan cumplir con el protocolo al momento de participar en la competencia.
1.2. Habrá a disposición varias copias de este protocolo el día del evento, al igual que del cronograma del torneo.

2. Distanciamiento Social

2.1. El aforo máximo del recinto es de 100 personas. Se limitará la competencia a un máximo de 50 competidores, los que podrán asistir con un máximo de un acompañante.
2.2. Se debe tener en cuenta que por la edad de los competidores no todos tendrán aun su pase de movilidad. De todas formas, se solicitará que las personas que cuenten con el pase de movilidad lo presenten en la entrada para validar su habilitación.
2.3. El distanciamiento social entre los asistentes debe ser de 1 metro siempre y cuando sea posible, tanto dentro como fuera del recinto. Para asegurar que esta medida se cumpla, se controlará el flujo de personas para evitar aglomeraciones.
2.4. No se pueden ingerir comestibles ni bebestibles dentro de la zona de competencia, para asegurar que las mascarillas estén puestas en todo momento.
2.5. Se designara una zona especial para el recambio de mascarillas, la que será indicada el día de la competencia.
2.6. La cantidad de estaciones de competencia será igual al número de competidores por grupo e igual al número de jueces fijos, por lo que no habrá área de espera.

3. Reglas sanitarias de la competencia

3.1. Reglas para los asistentes/competidores

3.1.1. El uso de mascarilla será obligatorio para todo el asistente del torneo, durante todo momento.
3.1.2. Se les recomienda a los competidores llevar mascarillas quirúrgicas ya que permiten más fácilmente la respiración y son más efectivas que las mascarillas lavables o de género. También se les recomienda llevar mascarillas de recambio.,
3.1.3. La organización pondrá botellas de alcohol gel a disposición de los asistentes en todo el recinto y en cada uno de los puestos asociados a la competencia. Además asegurara el stock de jabón, papel higiénico y papel toalla.
3.1.4. Los competidores deben llevar sus propios puzles a la competencia. En caso de que un competidor no disponga del puzle necesario para un evento, no podrá competir. No se permitirá el intercambio de estos con otro participante.
3.1.5. Los competidores deberán llevar sus propios lápices. En caso de que un competidor no disponga de uno, se les serán proporcionara uno.
3.1.6. Los competidores pueden llevar elementos protectores para cubir las superficies de competencia como por ejemplo laminas de plastico transparentes, pero no se daran intentos adicionales en el caso de que el elemento protector interfiera con el timer.
3.1.7. Las estaciones de competencia estarán separadas por 2 metros de distancia entre sí y el juez estará sentado al menos a un metro de distancia de la estación. Las estaciones de competencia solo podrán ser usadas para intentos oficiales, por lo que se prohíbe practicar en ellas.
3.1.8. La limpieza y desinfección de la estación será llevada a cabo por el juez, una vez terminados los intentos del competidor

3.2. Reglas para los jueces y scramblers

3.2.1. Se le hará una capacitación breve antes de cada grupo con el objetivo de que se cumpla cada punto de este protocolo.
3.2.2. Se debe evitar el contacto con los puzles. Los competidores serán los encargados de poner los puzles dentro de los recipientes denominados tapacubos y de retirarlos cuando corresponda.
3.2.3. Los jueces que trasladen los puzles y su respectivo scoresheet desde la zona de recepción de cubos hasta la zona de scramble deben hacerlo manteniéndolos dentro del recipiente denominado tapacubo en todo momento. Al esperar el scramble, deben hacerlo manteniendo la distancia física.
3.2.4. Los scramblers recibirán los tapacubos con el cubo y el scoresheet, leerán el nombre y el intento del competidor y tomarán el cubo con guantes entregados por la organización y procederán a scramblear, usando los computadores provistos por la organización.
3.2.5. Los scramblers limpiaran y desinfectaran la mesa de escrambles al finalizar cada ronda.
3.2.6. Los jueces que trasladen los puzles escrambleados y su respectivo scoresheet a la estación de competición deben hacerlo manteniendo el puzle dentro del recipiente denominado tapacubo.
3.2.7. Los jueces limpiaran y desinfectaran la estación de competencia al finalizar cada grupo.

4. Controles y registros con el fin de garantizar el bienestar de los asistentes

4.1. Se controlará a todas las personas que ingresen, pidiéndoles su nombre y registrando su temperatura, no dejando ingresar a aquellas personas que igualen o superen los 37,8ºC.
4.2. Se les preguntará a los asistentes a lo hora de ingresar si sienten o han sentido algún síntoma durante los últimos 7 días. Además, si los competidores llegan a sentir algún síntoma durante la competencia deben notificar al staff.
4.3. Dentro de los síntomas se considera la fiebre igual o mayor a 37,8ºC, la tos seca, dificultad al respirar, dolor de garganta, dolor de cabeza y cansancio injustificado.
4.3.1. En caso de que algún asistente haya presentado o presente síntomas durante la competencia se le aislará y se le pedirá que se retire de la competencia.
4.3.2. Si el competidor se retiró de la competencia a causa de los síntomas y no alcanzó a competir, se le devolverá el 50% de su cuota de inscripción.
4.3.3. El competidor que se retire por este motivo deberá asistir a un centro de salud, para realizarse un test de COVID19y en caso de salir positivo deberá notificar a la organización mediante correo electrónico.

Melipilla Open 2021 Protocol

1. Introduction

1.1. This document details the health safety protocols of the competition, assuming that the reader has basic notions of how a competition is developed. Competitors agree to abide by this health safety protocol when participating in the competition.
1.2. Several copies of this protocol will be available on the day of the event, as well as the tournament schedule.

2. Social distancing

2.1. The maximum capacity of the venue is 100 people. The competition will be limited to a maximum of 50 competitors, who may attend with a maximum of one companion.
2.2. It should be taken into account that due to the age of the competitors, not all of them will had the mobility pass. In any case, it will be requested that people who have the mobility pass present it at the entrance to validate their authorization.
23. Social distancing between attendees should be 1 meter as long as possible, both inside and outside the venue. To ensure that this measure is complied with, the flow of people will be controlled to avoid crowds.
2.4. Food or drink cannot be ingested within the competition area, to ensure that masks are on at all times.
2.5. A special area will be designated for the replacement of masks, which will be indicated on the day of the competition.
2.6. The number of competition stations will be equal to the number of competitors per group and equal to the number of fixed judges, so there will be no waiting area.

3. Sanitary rules of the competition

3.1. Rules for attendees / competitors

3.1.1. The use of a mask will be mandatory for the entire tournament attendee, at all times.
3.1.2. Competitors are encouraged to wear surgical masks as they allow easier breathing and are more effective than washable or fabric masks. They are also recommended to bring replacement masks.,
3.1.3. The organization will put bottles of alcohol gel at the disposal of the attendees throughout the venue and in each of the positions associated with the competition. It will also ensure the stock of soap, toilet paper and paper towels.
3.1.4. Competitors must bring their own puzzles to the competition. In case a competitor does not have the puzzle necessary for an event, he will not be able to compete. The exchange of these with another participant will not be allowed.
3.1.5. Competitors must bring their own pencils. In the event that a competitor does not have one, they will be provided one.
3.1.6. Competitors may wear protective elements to cover the competition surfaces such as transparent plastic sheets, but no further attempts will be made in the event that the protective element interferes with the timer.
3.1.7. The competition stations will be separated by two meters from each other and the judge will be seated at least one meter away from the station. The competition stations can only be used for official attempts, so it is prohibited to practice on them.
3.1.8. The cleaning and disinfection of the station will be carried out by the judge, once the competitor's attempts are finished

3.2. Rules for judges and scramblers

3.2.1. Judges and scramblers will be given a brief training before each group with the objective that each point of this protocol is fulfilled.
3.2.2. Contact with the puzzles should be avoided. The competitors will be in charge of putting the puzzles inside the cube covers and removing them when appropriate.
3.2.3. The judges who transfer the puzzles and their respective scoresheet from the cube reception area to the scramble area must do so by keeping them inside the cube cover at all times. When waiting for the scramble, they must do so while maintaining physical distance.
3.2.4. The scramblers will receive the cube covers with the cube and the scoresheet, they will read the name and the intent of the competitor and will take the cube with gloves given by the organization and proceed to scramble, using the computers provided by the organization.
3.2.5. The scramblers will clean and sanitize the scramble table at the end of each round.
3.2.6. The judges who transfer the written puzzles and their respective scoresheet to the competition station must do so by keeping the puzzle inside the cube cover.
3.2.7. The judges will clean and sanitize the competition station at the end of each group.

4. Controls and records in order to guarantee the well-being of the attendees

4.1. All people who enter will be controlled, asking for their name and recording their temperature, not allowing those people who equal or exceed 37.8ºC to enter.
4.2. Attendees will be asked at the time of admission if they feel or have felt any symptoms during the last 7 days. In addition, if the competitors feel any symptoms during the competition, they must notify the staff.
4.3. Among the symptoms are considered fever equal to or greater than 37.8ºC, dry cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, headache and unjustified fatigue.
4.3.1. In the event that an attendee has presented or presents symptoms during the competition, they will be isolated and asked to withdraw from the competition.
4.3.2. If the competitor withdrew from the competition due to symptoms and was unable to compete, 50% of their entry fee will be refunded.
4.3.3. The competitor who withdraws for this reason must attend a health center to take a COVID19 test and in case of positive results, must notify the organization by email.

En el metro Estación Central se encuentra el terminal San Borja de Buses, en aquel terminal busca el local llamado “Ruta 78” allí puedes comprar boletos a melipilla y te pueden dar descuento si eres escolar llevando el pase, luego de comprar el pasaje tomas el bus, cualquiera que diga melipilla que se encuentran por el mismo pasillo del local pero al fondo, a la izquierda.

El colegio San Agustín nos ha cedido muy gentilmente un espacio, y así podremos tener un torneo en la ciudad de Melipilla

LÍMITE Y ACOMPAÑANTES

El torneo tiene un límite en el número de participantes igual a 50. Recomendamos completar el registro con la debida anticipación.
El registro se cerrará cuando el límite de participantes se alcance, o en su defecto, el 30 de noviembre.
NO SE ACEPTARÁN REGISTROS POSTERIORES AL CIERRE NI EL DÍA DEL EVENTO.

COSTO

La inscripción tendrá un costo de $5000 que deberá ser pagado antes del cierre de inscripciones.

La participación en este torneo requiere de la compleción exitosa de los siguientes requisitos:

Conocer el reglamento de la WCA ya que este es un torneo oficial.
Elegir los eventos a inscribir cuidadosamente luego de revisar las pestañas Eventos y Cronograma. Prestar atención a los formatos de las rondas y a sus cortes y límites.
