In final rounds, 50% the competitors will be reserved for Singaporean Competitors.

There is a competitor limit of 180 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $13 (Singapore Dollar).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 23% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.

Competitors may only register for events that they are already qualified for.

Registration Qualification Requirements

The deadline for qualifying is 11 Jan 2026. Competitors may only register for events that they are already qualified for. You must obtain the result specified below in official WCA competitions before the deadline in order to register for the corresponding event at Singapore Championship 2026. The detailed qualification requirements can be found at the registration website

Notice of Filming and Photography By entering the competition premises, you consent to being photographed and recorded. You grant the organizers, the WCA, and partners full rights to use this media worldwide, in perpetuity, without compensation. Entry constitutes your acceptance of these terms.

At this competition, at least half the competitors in finals will be representing Singapore.
For example, if there are only 4 Singaporeans ranked among top 12 in round 3 of 3x3, we will be taking the top 6 Singaporeans in round 3 and the top 6 non Singaporeans in round 3 to be in 3x3 finals. There will not be any special arrangements if there will naturally be more than 50% Singaporeans in finals.

Q: What time should I check-in for the competition?
A:

  • If you are participating in any events on Day1 (20 Feb, Friday), you will need to check-in in the morning of Day1 and you do not need to check-in again on Day2.
  • Otherwise, if you are not competing in any events on Day1, you need to check-in during the official check-in period in the morning of Day2 (21 Feb, Saturday) as stated on the schedule. Failure to do so may result in disqualification from the competition.

Q: What time should I compete for my events?
A: The groupings will be available at this site. You are advised to be present at the venue at least 30 minutes before your group starts as the schedule may differ from what was previously announced. If you’re not on time and miss the last call for your group, you will not be able to compete for that event.

Q: How do I know my results? How do I find out if I've progressed to the next round?
A: Results will be uploaded live throughout the day to WCA Live. Please allow some time after finishing your solves for them to be keyed into the system. You may check if you’ve made it to the following round after all results in a given round have been entered.

Q: What do I need to know before the competition day?
A: Before attending you should be familiar with the WCA Regulations. You should also know when your events are scheduled throughout the competition.

Top-3 awards in this competition:

Singaporean Category: Top 3 Singaporean winners for each event
Open Category: Top 3 winners for each event regardless of nationality

All-rounder awards:

Singaporean Category criteria:
1. Competitor must be a Singapore citizen at the time of the SGC2026, and competes in the SGC2026
2. Only results obtained in the past cubing year are considered, which includes results from the current SGC, but excludes the previous SGC

Open Category criteria:
1. Competitor must competes in SGC2026
2. Only results obtained at Singapore WCA competitions in the past cubing year are considered, which includes results from the current SGC, but excludes the previous SGC

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.

Qualification

Qualification times must be set in other WCA competitions in order to compete. Qualification times must be set on or before Jan 11, 2026.
