Welcome to PRs in Binondo! 2025, the second speedcubing competition at the oldest Chinatown in the world! This competition will feature a speedcubing twist where all the rounds of a single event is held consecutively, simulating a PR worth environment. The events of this competition are 4x4, 5x5, 3x3 Blindfolded, 3x3 Multiblind, Megaminx and 4x4 Blindfolded with 4x4 as the main event.

We encourage reading through all information tabs to be properly informed of additional information and requirements needed for registration and competing.

There is a competitor limit of 40 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is ₱550 (Philippine Peso).
Registration fees won't be refunded under any circumstance.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until by contacting the organization team.
On the spot registrations will be accepted if there are remaining spots available, with a base registration fee of ₱800 (Philippine Peso).

FOR FOREIGN COMPETITORS

Registration payments may be paid by competitors travelling from other countries through cash until the day of the competition with an advance notice with proof of travel at least two weeks before the competition in order to fully secure the registration slot. Please contact the Cubers and Friends Organizing Team regarding the payment and registration, or if you wish to pay through another preferred method of payment.

Please indicate the name of competitor, and events registered or number of events registered in the message tab in the GCash app before sending payment, and send the receipt of payment to the Cubers and Friends Organizing Team through e-mail at cubersandfriends.org@gmail.com. Failing to confirm your registration payments through e-mail will render your registration null, void, and non-refundable.
However, registration payments paid within a grace period of 48 HOURS after registration slots are filled may be refunded, else the NO-REFUND policy applies henceforth.

Take a Jeepney/E-trike going to Divisoria and drop off at the venue along Quintin Paredes st.

Parking rates: PHP 40.00 for the first 2 hours, additional PHP 15.00 per hour

There are only a limited number of parking spaces available within the establishment. If you plan to bring a vehicle, please fill out the attached Google Form.

Please note that completing the form does not guarantee a reserved parking slot, as parking will be on a first come, first served basis.

However, parking space is available around the venue depending on the availability.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Is there an age limit to compete?
A: None! Everyone is welcome to compete regardless of age.

Q: Should I bring my own timer?
A: No need to! Just bring your cube and yourself, as competitors are expected to use their own puzzles in competition.

Q: When does registration end?
A: Registration ends on July 28, 2025 at 12:00 PM GMT+8, or when the forty (40) competitor limit is reached. Waitlisted competitors may be admitted untilAugust 1, 2025 at 12:00 PM GMT+8.

Q: Do you accept walk-in registrations?
A: Late/Walk-in registrations are accepted with an increased base registration fee of PHP 650 good for ALL events. You may also add events until competition day.

Q: Do you accept refunds?
A: Registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE under any circumstance, including when removing or deleting event from registration. However, registration payments paid within a grace period of 48 HOURS after registration slots are filled may be refunded, else the NO-REFUND policy applies henceforth.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
