На змаганнях Kyiv Mental Shake-up 2021 будуть діяти наступні ОБОВ’ЯЗКОВІ положення:
1. Під час масових заходів або відвідин приміщень ВСІ відвідувачі мають дотримуватись маскового режиму (Постанова КМУ від 16 червня 2021 р. № 611, п. 3).
2. Обмеження щодо кількості осіб на одиницю площі відсутні. Проте організаторами встановлений ліміт учасників на змаганнях (20 осіб), а також обмеження на присутність гостей на змаганнях (не більше 1 гостя на 1 учасника змагань) (Competition Safety п.4.2).
3. Усі відвідувачі повинні триматись один від одного на відстані щонайменше 1 м на час змагань (Competition Safety п.1.1).
4. Всі відвідувачі мають заохочуватись до дезінфікування рук на вході в місце проведення змагань та через рівні проміжки часу протягом змагань (Competition Safety п.1.3).
5. Зона учасників відсутня; на початку групи учасники мають здати головоломки і зайняти місця за столами для офіційних спроб (Competition Safety п.5.2.3).
6. Учасникам не дозволяється запозичувати головоломки у інших учасників (Competition Safety п.2.6).
7. Учасникам не дозволяється тренуватись на обладнанні для змагань під час перерв та пауз між раундами (Competition Safety п.2.2).

The following MANDATORY regulations will apply at Kyiv Mental Shake-up 2021:
1. During mass events or visits to the premises, ALL visitors must adhere to the mask regime (Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of June 16, 2021 № 611, p.3).
2. There are no restrictions on the number of persons per unit area. However, the organizers set a limit for participants in the competition (20 people), as well as restrictions on the presence of guests at the competition (not more than 1 guest per 1 participant in the competition) (Competition Safety p.4.2).
3. All visitors must keep a distance of at least 1 m from each other during the competition (Competition Safety p.1.1).
4. All visitors should be encouraged to disinfect their hands at the entrance to the competition venue and at regular intervals during the competition (Competition Safety p.1.3).
5. There will not be a competitors area; at the beginning of the group, participants must submit their puzzles and take their seats at the solving stations for official attempts (Competition Safety p.5.2.3).
6. Participants are not allowed to borrow puzzles from other participants (Competition Safety p.2.6).
7. Participants are not allowed to practice on the equipment for competitions during breaks and pauses between rounds (Competition Safety p.2.2).

A: Якщо Ви пройшли всі кроки реєстрації, то просто зачекайте. Якщо Вас не додали в список протягом двох днів, зв’яжіться з організатором або напишіть в наш Телеграм-чат.

Q: Чи можу я змінити список своїх дисциплін, якщо я вже зареєструвався?
A: Так, Ви можете змінити свій список дисциплин до 28 вересня. Для цього зв’яжіться з Організатором.

Q: Що робити, якщо я не зможу відвідати змагання?
A: Будь ласка, повідомте заздалегідь, що Ви не зможете бути присутні на змаганнях. В такому випадку хтось інший зможе взяти участь.

Q: Чи існують вікові категорії чи обмеження?
A: Всі учасники змагаються на одному рівні. Обмежень або категорій за віком немає.

Q: Потрібно приносити свої головоломки чи їх будуть видавати?
A: Для участі в дисципліні треба мати і надати для перемішування свою головоломку.

Q: Коли я маю приїхати на змагання?
A: Орієнтуйтесь за розкладом. Новачкам дуже бажано прослухати вступний інструктаж, який буде проводитись на початку першого дня змагань. Якщо Ви знаєте правила WCA і маєте уявлення про те, як проходять змагання, то приходьте за 15 хвилин перед початком своєї дисципліни.

Q: Коли я можу покинути змагання?
A: Ви можете покинути змагання в будь-який зручний для Вас час, якщо Ви не берете або не хочете брати участь в наступних раундах/дисциплінах.

Q: Де можна подивитись результати?
A: Результати будуть опубліковані на цій сторінці через кілька днів після закінчення змагання. Також Ви можете відслідковувати результати онлайн на сайті https://live.worldcubeassociation.org

Kyiv is the capital of Ukraine. So it's easy to travel to the competition from any other location.

To find flights to Kyiv you can use lowcost companies like:

• Ryanair — https://www.ryanair.com/us/en/ flies to Boryspil airport.
• Wizzair — https://wizzair.com/en-gb/ flies to Sikorsky/Zhulyany airport.
• Skyup — https://skyup.aero/en/ flies to Boryspil airport.

There are few ways to get from airports to city center.

From Boryspil airport you can take:
express train to “Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi” railway staiton for (80UAH ~3€)
or
bus to “Kharkivska” subway station for (60UAH ~2€)
or
bus to “Pivdennyi” railway station for (100UAH ~3.5€)

From Sikorsky/Zhulyany airport:
unfortunately there no special transport from/to and you will need local cash for public transport, but you can easily take "Uber"/"Bolt" - it will cost ~4-5€ to get to city center.

The competition venue located 5 minutes walk from "Shulyavska" metro station. Metro trip costs 8UAH(~0.30€) and can be paid with PayPass (look for the yellow tourniquet with "PayPass" sign).
We recommend to use Uber when you need to go from one location to another in Kyiv (it's very cheap).You can use a public transport as well but remember you will need local cash almost for all except metro.

From metro "Shulyavska" go under the bridge to the underground passage then turn to the right and you'll see the venue:

Accomodation:
Despite the fact that Kyiv is the capital and seventh largest city of Europe, accommodation here is very cheap.

You can find lots of cheap hostels (from ~10€ per night), apartments & hotels in central Kyiv.
