Informationen für Neulinge

Falls dies dein erstes WCA Turnier sein sollte, beachte bitte die folgenden Punkte:

• Alle Neulinge sind dazu verpflichtet ein Ausweisdokument an der Anmeldung vor zu zeigen (Regulation 2e). Aus dem Dokument müssen Name, Nationalität und Geburtsdatum hervorgehen.
• Alle Neulinge sind eindringlich gebeten, am Tutorial (siehe Zeitplan) teilzunehmen.
• Alle Teilnehmenden sollte bereits vor der Meisterschaft mindestens einmal die offiziellen Regeln der WCA gelesen haben. Zusätzlich empfehlen wir euch einen Blick in das WCA Competition Tutorial, das Judging-Tutorial bzw. unsere deutschsprachige Teilnehmer-Anleitung. Dort findet ihr wichtige Infos zum Ablauf und zur Teilnahme am Wettbewerb. Weiterhin bietet zum Beispiel auch dieses Video-Tutorial einen guten unterstützenden Einblick.
• Keine Angst: während des Turniers besteht die Möglichkeit, sich mit dem offiziellen Equipment (Stackmat-Timer) vertraut zu machen und Fragen zu stellen.

Bei Unklarheiten oder wichtigen Fragen vor dem Turnier kannst du dich gerne an das Organisationsteam wenden.

Nach dem Wettkampf werden alle Ergebnisse in die Datenbank der WCA hochgeladen und auf dieser Seite einzusehen sein.

Newcomer information

If this is your first WCA competition, please pay attention to the following:

• According to Regulation 2e), all newcomers are required to bring some form of identification document that shows name, citizenship and date of birth.
• All newcomers are urgently asked to attend the Tutorial (see schedule).
• Every competitor should have read the official WCA regulations at least once before attending the competition! A more condensed version of the important regulations can be found at the WCA Competition Tutorial and the Judging Tutorial. We also recommend this video guide for a more visual impression.
• Don't be afraid: there will also be time to test the equipment (for example the official timing device, the Stackmat timer) and discuss the rules if you have questions at the competition.

Feel free to contact the organizer if you have any uncertainties.

Bei den Hessen Open und Hessen Mini Open werden die 3x3 1st und 2nd Round als sogenannte Dual Round durchgeführt, sofern das WCA Softwaresystem dies bis zu den Hessen Open unterstützt. Siehe hierzu WCA Regel 9v).
Das bedeutet für jeden Teilnehmer der ersten Runde eine garantierte Startposition auch in der zweiten Runde.
Für das Weiterkommen in die finale 3x3 Runde (Hessen Open) bzw. die finale Platzierung (Hessen Mini Open) entscheidet dann der bessere Average of 5 (Ao5) der beiden Runden.
Bei Fragen oder Unklarheiten, meldet Euch jederzeit beim Orga-Team.

At the Hessen Open and Hessen Mini Open, the 3x3 1st and 2nd rounds will be held as so-called dual rounds, provided that the WCA software system supports this until the Hessen Open. See also WCA Regel 9v).
This means that every participant in the first round is guaranteed a starting position in the second round as well.
Advancement to the third and final 3x3 round (Hessen Open) or the final ranking (Hessen Mini Open) will then be determined by the better Average of 5 (Ao5) of the two rounds.

Wie jedes Jahr findet ein geheimes inoffizielles Event statt, die supergeheime Ultradisziplin.
Das Hauptziel besteht darin, vertraute Konzepte aus einer neuen Perspektive zu betrachten, um so Abwechslung zu schaffen und vor allem Spaß zu haben.
Diese Tradition geht auf den Beginn der Hessen Open 2012 zurück und wird seitdem hochgehalten.

Falls Ihr Ideen habt, welches Event wir in den kommenden Jahren zu diesem Zwecke abhalten können, meldet Euch gerne jederzeit beim Orga-Team.

As every year, a secret unofficial event takes place: the "supergeheime Ultradisziplin".
The main aim is to look at familiar concepts from a new perspective, thereby providing variety and, most importantly, having fun.
This tradition dates back to the beginning of the Hessen Open in 2012 and has been upheld ever since.

Bitte beachtet: Anders als in den Vorjahren steht die Zehntscheune in Lampertheim in diesem Jahr nicht als Austragungsort zur Verfügung. Wir sind daher auf das Bürgerhaus in einem anderen Stadtteil ausgewichen.

• Bahnlinie RE70 / S9 aus Richtung Mannheim bzw. Frankfurt, Umstieg auf auf RB63 in Richtung Worms. Alternativ direkt in Worms oder Bensheim in RB63 einsteigen.
• Von Zielhaltestelle Hofheim (Ried) sind es 5 Gehminuten bis zum Bürgerhaus.
• Vorsicht beim Fahren mit Navi: Verwechselt den Lampertheimer Stadtteil Hofheim (Ried) nicht mit Hofheim im Taunus! ;)
• Vor Ort steht nur eine begrenzte Anzahl an Parkplätzen vor der Venue zur Verfügung.

Please note: Unlike in previous years, the Zehntscheune in Lampertheim is not available as a venue this year. We have therefore switched to the community center in another part of town.

• Train line RE70 / S9 from Mannheim or Frankfurt, change to RB63 in the direction of Worms. Alternatively, board RB63 directly in Worms or Bensheim.
• From the destination stop Hofheim (Ried) it is a 5-minute walk to the Bürgerhaus.
• Caution when driving with navigation systems: Do not confuse Lampertheim's district Hofheim (Ried) with Hofheim im Taunus! ;)
• Only a limited number of parking spaces are available on site in front of the venue.

There are a few restaurants within walking distance that you can visit. Howwemer Pizza Kebab, Pizzeria Trattoria da Verona and Pizzeria Paradiso among others.
We will not be selling food.

Es wird die Möglichkeit geben, Eure alten Würfel zum Verkauf anzubieten.
Wir werden entsprechende Vorlagen bereitstellen, um eine reibungslose Kommunikation zwischen Verkäufer und Interessenten zu ermöglichen.

Teilnehmer der Hessen Open können auch freitags anreisen, um Ihre Würfel bereits während der Hessen Mini Open anzubieten.

There will be an opportunity to offer your old cubes for sale.
We will provide appropriate templates to facilitate smooth communication between sellers and interested parties.

Participants in the Hessen Open can also arrive on Friday to offer their cubes during the Hessen Mini Open.

Auf der Veranstaltung können eventuell Foto- und Videoaufnahmen gemacht werden. Alle Fotos und Videos werden nach der Veranstaltung den Teilnehmenden zur Verfügung gestellt.

Einverständnis: Mit deiner Anmeldung erklärst du dich damit einverstanden, dass Fotos oder Videos von dir später veröffentlicht werden können. Gleiches gilt für Gäste, die Teilnehmende begleiten oder generell zuschauen.

Unter 18 Jahre alt? Bitte hol dir das Einverständnis deiner Eltern dazu.
