Due to the small size of this competition, every event will have 2 or 3 groups. Everyone will be expected to staff in some capacity for every event they sign up for (the group after you compete. If you're in the last group, you'll staff the first group). We also would appreciate any additional help we can get. If you're interested in staffing events you aren't registered for, please contact our organization team, through the contact form on the website. All of your staffing responsibilities will be listed on your nametag you will receive at the competition. We will cover how to do each of these in the competitor tutorial in the morning. That being said, we will be trying a new thing we're calling "Scramble Judges". There is a brief explanation of what a "Scramble Judge" is below.

Scramble Judges

Notated on your nametag as "SJ" followed by a group number.
This is a new thing we're going to try for this competition. Scramble Judges will each scramble 1 cube (scramble 1 only) and will run the cube to an empty station. You will then judge the rest of the group. This is to get the groups started quicker leaving less downtime. If all judge spots are filled, feel free to either continue scrambling or start running depending on the needs. If you are unsure what you should do, ask an organizer or delegate of the competition.

Parking is allowed anywhere on the wasatch campus on the map below, Do not park in the seven peaks parking lot
The entrance is located on the north side of the parkview building, marked by the white arrow.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
