Register for the first WCA Speedcubing Competition in the Free State, being hosted by Mimosa Mall in Bloemfontein!

Volunteering
We will need your help as volunteers to support with the running, judging and scrambling of the day. If you would like to volunteer to help staff at the competition, please contact Maverick Pearson. Groups will be assigned so that volunteer duties don't clash with your competing.

Cube Shop
Cape Town's own cube shop, Speedcubes.co.za, will have a stall open at the competition to sell a variety of puzzles. Check out their website to see what's available!

There is a competitor limit of 200 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is R260 (South African Rand).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 100% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
On the spot registrations will be accepted with a base registration fee of R260 (South African Rand).


REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

Please note that there are THREE steps you need to take to be entered into this competition:

1) The competitor must create a WCA account if they do not already have one (or their parent/guardian must create one for them).
2) The competitor must register for the competition using their WCA account, specifying which events they want to participate in.
3) The competitor must pay the entry fee by buying the appropriate ticket on Quicket. When purchasing your ticket, make sure that the competitor's name is used as a reference so that we know who the ticket is for.

Please note the following:
* If you haven't both registered for the competition (Step 2) and paid for a ticket (Step 3), you will not be able to compete.
* The base registration fee is ZAR260. Spectators may attend for free.
* Please note that on the spot registrations will be accepted, but it is still recommended to enter online.

Refunds and terms:
If your registration is cancelled before 18 November at midnight (00:00) you will be refunded 100% of your registration fee.

No refunds will be offered after the cut off date has been reached.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
