The base registration fee for this competition is $25 (United States Dollar).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee.

No on the spot registrations will be accepted.


ONLY 1 spectator per competitor will be allowed to enter the venue. When you are registering, PLEASE make sure to put down 1 guest AT MOST, otherwise your registration will NOT be accepted.

All newcomers must be familiar with the WCA Regulations before competing.

In addition, please read this document before coming to the competition.

For All Competitors:

When you arrive, you will receive a card with personalized information detailing your events and what group you will be competing in for each event. In addition, you will also have judging/scrambling assignments on your card. Every competitor is expected to help out during the event(s) they are registered for. The card will look like the following:

If you do not arrive to help during your scheduled event, and there are not enough staff members, we reserve the right to disqualify you from competing.

Travel Options:

Plane: The closest airport is Akron-Canton Airport (CAK). It is about an hour away by car. Two other Airports are Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) and Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) which are both about an hour and 30 minutes away by car.

Parking: Behind the school, turning right off of Shaffer Dr, There are plenty of parking spots.

Hotels: There are many hotels within a 10 minute drive of the venue.

Lunch/Dinner: There are a lot of food options by the school. McDonalds, Burger King, Arbys, Steak 'n Shake, Hot Heads, Five Guys, Pizza Hut, Rise Pies, Dairy Queen, Pesa Roll, Panera, Bob Evans, Chipotle, Wendys, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, Subway, Jimmy Johns, Garbanzo, and many more.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
