This competition is a special competition with only quiet events that takes place on a Thursday evening.

Only one guest per competitor is permitted. Please consider coming without a guest if possible as spectator seating will be limited and this is not a particularly spectator-friendly event.

We encourage everyone to register for the events they want to compete in via your online registration, however you may add events to your registration up until the event has started.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Spectators are only permitted as companions of competitors.
Competitors may bring at most 1 guest.

Registrations are accepted manually, so please be patient while waiting for your name to appear on the competitor list after you submit payment for your registration. You do not have a confirmed spot at the competition until you receive an email with the subject line: "Registration Accepted: GA Cubers Leap Day 2024" Any travel plans that you make before receiving the acceptance email are at your own risk.

After the competitor limit has been reached, you may still submit your registration in order to be put on the waiting list. If you are first on the waiting list and someone cancels their registration, then you will receive an email from the organizers notifying you that you are being accepted into the competition.

Noah Swor won with a single solve of 17.59 seconds in the 3x3x3 Blindfolded event. Tien Tran finished second (22.62) and Jacob Ambrose finished third (1:33.30).

Parking:
Park at the Student Center Parking Deck and the Exhibition Hall will be immediately to your left. Parking is either $2/hr or $15/day at this deck.

Transit:
MARTA's North Avenue train station is a 15-20 minute walk from the venue, and MARTA bus route 26 has a stop about a block and a half from the venue.

Once you enter the Exhibition Hall, head upstairs and the Inman Park room will be towards the back. A map of the second floor is found below, with the main stairs on the top right.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced across rounds (see Guideline A1a2++).

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
