When registering on the WCA site, kindly ensure to select your home country and NOT your country of residence (Example: If you're an Indian living in UAE please select India as your country).

The base registration fee for this competition is 55 د.إ (United Arab Emirates Dirham).
Registration fees won't be refunded under any circumstance.

No on the spot registrations will be accepted.

Please read carefully

Please note that online registration is mandatory and the entry fees payment will be collected at the venue on the day of the competition. If you're not able to attend the competition after your registration is approved kindly inform the organizers so that your registration gets deleted.

Important Note:
Approved competitors that don’t attend the competition and fail to inform the organizers before the registration period is over, will have to pay a no-show fine with an amount of AED 55 in the next competition they attend.

Entry Fees and Guests / رسوم المشاركة والضيوف

The competitor entry fee is AED 55. All competitors will receive a participation certificate and a customized ID card on the day of the competition.
One guest is only allowed to accompany each competitor. For any special requests, please do not hesitate to contact the organizers using this Form.

رسوم المشاركة 55 درهم اماراتي. سيحصل كل متسابق على شهادة مشاركة وبطاقة هوية خاصة به / بها يوم المسابقة.

بعد اتمام تسجيلك ستتم اضافتك الى قائمة الانتظار لتتم مراجعة بياناتك
سيتم قبول التسجيل بعد التأكد من بياناتك وستحصل على ايميل او بريد الكتروني، بإمكانك التواصل مع المنظمين في حال مرور اسبوع ولم يتم الرد على تسجيلك
يجب على المتسابقين المشاركين في بطولات سابقة للمنظمة التأكد من الحصول على ملفهم الشخصي لكي يتم قبول التسجيل (WCA ID)

Once you register you will be placed on the waiting list while we review your registration
Once your registration is accepted you will get an email confirming that (if you don't get an acceptance email after a week please contact the organizers)
Returning competitors (competitors who competed at a WCA competition before) are required to claim their WCA ID before their registration is accepted

Please ensure to carry your ID card or passport with you on the day of the competition so that we can verify your personal information
Please attend on time (you can refer to the schedule tab for the exact times)
Bring your own cubes for the competition and make sure you check the regulations for acceptable puzzles

COVID-19 Restrictions

All competition attendees including Competitors and Guests are required to abide by the COVID-19 Safety Protocols issued by the UAE National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA). Wearing Face Masks and maintaining Social Distancing are both mandatory during all times of the competition.

Emirates Cube Shop

Emirates Cube Shop will be present during the competition to provide you with the latest cubes and puzzles!

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
