  • All first round events will have a combined cumulative time limit of 40 minutes. You will have no more than 40 minutes of solving time to complete as many events as you like.
  • The competition will be divided up into 3 groups. Groups will last approximately 2 and a half hours each.
  • Each Competitor will have a competing assignment and 1-2 helping assignments (ex. Compete in Group 1 Station 1, Judge Group 2 Station 1). You must be present to help out for your assigned tasks. Failure to complete your judging assignments may result in disqualification from the competition and/or being reported to the WCA Disciplinary Committee.
  • The competition will have fixed seating. There will be a cube cover and all your scorecards at your assigned station, which will be posted closer to the competition.
  • Competitors may do the events in any order you wish. Once you've started an event, you must complete that event or DNS the remaining solves before moving on to a different event.
  • If you are expecting a result > 8:00, please inform a Delegate or Judge. This will allow us to properly use a stopwatch to time the attempt in addition to the stackmat timer so that if you exceed 10 minutes the time can be accurately pulled from the stopwatch.
  • We will not be asking everyone to keep quiet while competitors are competing in 3x3 Blindfolded. Those attempts will be done in a "noisy" room.

All competitors should attend the tutorial at 8:00 AM, where we will discuss details specific to this competition.

A full tutorial for this competition can be found here.
