Please read the travel tab before attending the competition, especially if you are travelling by car. This competition is being held in a densely populated area and you cannot park on the streets near the venue. Garages are available nearby

The competition will be held at the Cambridge Community Center at 5 Callender Street, Cambridge, MA.

Please do not attempt to park in the area around the venue; it is resident parking only. There is parking nearby at Central Square Parking Lot at 438 Green St ($10). See also this page for other nearby parking options to Central Square.

Public Transit - The nearest public transit station is Central Square, on the MBTA Red Line, about a 10 minute walk away. You may choose to park at Alewife MBTA Station ($3), and take the MBTA Red Line to Central. There are plenty of restaurants in Central Square where competitors will be able to get lunch. South Station directly connects to the Red line, allowing for competitors across the metro to easily access the competition.

Airport - Boston Logan Airport is located about 15 minutes to the east by car, and 40 minutes by public transportation.

Hotels - The Courtyard Marriot Boston Cambridge and Le Meridian Boston Cambridge are both a 10-15 min walk from the venue.

How to Register
Log in to your WCA account, and click on the register link on the left side of this page. Your registration is not considered complete until you've paid the $30 registration fee via Stripe.

Waiting List
Due to limited space, this competition has a 125-person competitor limit. After 125 people have registered and paid, all additional competitors will be added to the waiting list. You need to pay the registration fee to be added to the waiting list; we'll refund your fee if you don't get in.

You'll be notified by March 25 if you were accepted from the waiting list.

Refunds
All competitors who cancel their registration by March 24 will have 50% of their registration fee refunded. All competitors who are not accepted from the waiting list wil have their entire registration fee refunded.

All competitors will be expected to judge and scramble throughout the day. If you would like to join the volunteer staff, you may apply to do so at this link. Staff members are expected to spend the majority of the day volunteering, and will receive free registration and lunch.

This competition is being sponsored by TheCubicle, and they will be generously providing gift cards as prizes for podiums, as well as small prizes for all first-time competitors!

There are no COVID-related restrictions, though competitors should feel free to wear a mask if they would prefer to do so.

Group assignments will be available closer to the competition, both here and at competitiongroups.com.

Waitlisted competitors will be accepted after a currently registered competitor drops. After March 24, the waitlist will be cleared and competitors still on the waitlist will have their registration fee refunded, Bolded initials have been accepted off the waitlist.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
