All participants must have a WCA account and must register on the WCA website of the competition (click here) before payment of registration fees. Any attendee who is not registered will NOT be allowed to participate.
Registrations are now open and will close on January, 5, 2017 at 23:59:59 hrs.
Only after Registration, the participant must follow one of the following procedures for payment of registration fees. The registration is accepted only after the payment has been processed, until which the registration is kept in the waiting list.

- Once the website confirms your payment your WCA registration will be accepted within 2-3 business days.

Steps for Offline Payment through collection drives/centres:-
- If you are unwilling/unable to pay online, you may drop in your fees in cash at collection drives in various areas of Kolkata and suburban areas.
- To see the list of places where the collections are being held click here.
- Don't forget to register(click here) before you come to the drives.
- Once you make your payment, please ask for your unique confirmation code and within 2-3 weekdays your registration will be accepted.
Steps for On Spot Payment:-
- Participants willing to pay only on spot on the competition day may pay their total registration fees at the venue itself according the last column of the chart mentioned below.
- Don't forget to register(click here) before you come to the venue, your registration will however be in the waiting list and only be accepted at the venue itself.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
