Online registration

The registration will be considered complete when both, the registration in the WCA page and the payment of the fees have been fulfilled. Please follow the instructions thoroughly to be sure your registration is succesful:

  1. Register to the competition in the WCA website with the events you want to compete at.
  2. Make the payment:
    • Fee is €8 general, €6 for AECR members.
    • When paying in PayPal (see below) add a note telling the competitor's name and the t-shirt size.
    • No reimbursements, no exceptions!

The payment is open until April 11 or until the competition limit is reached. Stay attentive to the email associated to your WCA user account! The organizers could contact you to verify your registration or to ask from you some reaction. Failing to respond timely could result if removing your registration.

Walk-in registration

The registration and payment will be possible the competition day at the venue only if there are available spots. The organizers can't guarantee that these onsite registrations will have gifts.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
