Sigulda Open ir vienīgās ikgadējās ātrkubošanas sacensības ārpus Rīgas. Nāc un sacenties ar citiem, un labi pavadīts laiks ir garantēts!


Sigulda Open is the only annual speedcubing competition in Latvia outside of Riga. Come and compete with others and have a great time!

There is a competitor limit of 80 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is €5 (Euro).
Registration fees won't be refunded under any circumstance.
On the spot registrations will be accepted with a base registration fee of €10 (Euro).

You'll have to pay participation fee on the spot on the day of competition. If the competitor limit has been reached, confirmation emails will be sent out about two weeks before the competition. Please check your spam folder and have a look at your inbox multiple times before the competition.

Tomas Jankauskas won with an average of 9.32 seconds in the 3x3x3 Cube event. Mikus Lembergs finished second (9.41) and Kaur Tuule finished third (11.32).

Blakus sacensību norises vietai ir pieejama kafejnīca "Zulu" (Burgeri, WOK, sushi) un veikals "Labais". Ir iespēja doties 1.5 km gājienā uz "Siguldas kebabs", tomēr negerantējam to, ka jūs paspēsiet uz Fewest Moves Challenge sākumu.


Next to the venue there will be a cafee "Zulu" (Burgers, WOK, sushi, etc) and a store "Labais". There is also an option to go to "Siguldas kebabs" about 1.5km walk from the venue, but there is no guarantee that you'll make it back in time for FMC.

Brīva autostāvieta atrodas tieši pie ēkas galvenajām durvīm.
Ja jūs braucat ar vilcienu vai autobusu, tad stacija no sacensību norises vietas atrodas 2 km attālumā.


There is free parking in front of the main entrance of the building.
If you're travelling by train or bus, the Sigulda train/bus station is about 2 km from the venue.

Each competitor must be familiar with and understand the WCA Regulations before the competition. Regulations are available on the WCA website. You can have a look at this video to get a basic overview of the regulations. Each first-time competitor must have a valid form of ID with them for identification.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
