On the spot registrations will be accepted with a base registration fee of ₨5,000 (Pakistani Rupee).
Any spectator can attend for free.

Please see tabs for more information on the competition.

Your registration will only be confirmed after full payment has been received.

If you have not competed before, please make an account on the WCA website first.

Competitor List

Registrants must pay the registration fee in order to be added to the competitor list. Unpaid registrations will not be accepted. Organizers manually accept registrations one at a time in the order the registration fees are paid, so you may have to wait a while before your name could show up on the competitor list.

Once the competitor list reaches the 100 competitor limit, registrants who pay the registration fee will be added to the waiting list instead of the competitor list. Due to the competitor limit, completing your registration within the initial registration period does not guarantee you a spot on the competitor list.

Waiting List

The waiting list is ordered based on when payment is received. You can ask about your position on the waiting list by emailing cubingPakistan.

If anyone on the competitor list deletes their registration, the person at the top of the waiting list will be moved to the competitor list. After May 11, 2024 6:00 PM PKT, the competitor list will be finalized and registrants who are still on the waiting list will be refunded 100% of their registration fee. Anyone on the waiting list may email cubingPakistan at any time to have their registration deleted (forfeiting your spot on the waiting list) and be refunded 100% of their registration fee.

If the competitor list fills up quickly, registration could close earlier than the originally listed date (May 11, 2024). Otherwise the waiting list will close at the same time that registration closes.

Follow this link on How to Pay?

If you have registered on the WCA website and paid according to the "How to Pay" tab and your name has not shown up in the list of competitors within 3-4 days, please contact the organizing team. In this case, please email the Main Organizer and the organization team will look into solving your concern.

Please go through all tabs provided on the WCA page for this competition as it contains very important information that you are required to know about before and during the competition.

Arrival

All competitors are advised to arrive 15 minutes before the events you are scheduled to compete in to ensure that you do not miss your events. Showing up excessively late to your group may result in not being allowed to compete in that event.

Name Tags Pickup

If you have registered and paid before online registration closes, you will be able to pick up your name tags from the check-in desk (or from the Delegate). If you register on-site, you will receive a blank name tag to write your name on. All on-site registrants will compete in the last group of the round.

When you arrive, you will receive a lanyard with personalized information detailing your events and what group you will be competing in for each event. In addition, you will also have staff assignments on your lanyard. Every competitor is expected to help out this competition.

Groups

Once registration closes, all competitors will be assigned to different groups for each event. Please take a look at the Groups tab a few days before the competition to find your respective competing groups and volunteering/staffing assignments.

Guests

All competitors are limited to 2 guests per competitor. Extra guests per competitor may be asked to leave the venue if the venue is overcrowded and/or there is disruption in conducting the competition.

New Competitors

Please watch this excellent WCA Competitor Tutorial Video created by Speedcubing Canada to familiarize yourself with how WCA competitions and rules work.

It is advised that you go through the WCA regulations as well. If you have any questions about them, feel free to ask the delegate during the competition.

There will be a new competitor tutorial as well before the start of the competition so it is greatly recommended that you attend it.

If you are excited to compete, ready to sign up, and have a WCA account, click register, fill out the information that is asked and submit. This will get you registered WCA's system and one step closer to your first official solve!

Please keep in mind that you still have to pay before your registration is confirmed. Details are found on the registration page and on the How to Pay? tab.

Do not pay if you have not registered for this competition or made an account first!

Dear Competitors.

Your registration will only be confirmed after full payment has been received. If you have not competed before, please make an account on the WCA website first.

Please ensure to add the name of the competitor in the 'Add a message' section so that your registration is accepted in a timely fashion.

You may also find this information on www.cubingpakistan.com.

Walk-in registrations are only accepted after online registration closes on May 11th, 2024 and if we have not reached our competitor limit of 80 competitors. Registration will be on a first-come, first-serve basis until we reach 80 competitors. If you are registering on the day of the competition please make sure to bring the cash amount of Rs.5000 to register. Further details are available on the registration page.

Happy cubing!

Walk-in Registrations

If the number of registered competitors is less than the competitor limit when registration closes, walk-in registrations will be accepted until the competitor limit as stated on the 'Info' page is reached.

If the competitor limit is reached before online registration closes, NO WALK-IN REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Registration will be open during most of the day from 08:30 AM to 4:00 PM at the check-in desk. The walk-in registration fee is Rs 5000. Cash is the only mode of payment accepted for walk-in registrations.

Further Information

If you register on site and this is your first time competing in a WCA competition, you will need to bring the following information with you:

  • ID with Name and Date of Birth
  • Country of citizenship (Note: For individuals representing countries other than Pakistan, we shall require proof of citizenship such as a passport, or certificate of citizenship)
  • Current Email address
  • List of events you want to compete in

If you register on site and you have competed in a WCA competition before, you will need to provide the following:

  • WCA ID

Volunteering

We would like to stress the fact that this competition can only run smoothly and finish on time with the help of volunteers.

Per Regulations 1e2 and 1f2, all competitors must be available to help judge and scramble.

No experience is necessary for volunteering activities such as judging and running. We will teach you how to do these tasks if you are interested. This will happen right after the new competitor tutorial and is a great opportunity for family members of competitors to be involved as well without competing.

Staff

If you would like to support cubingPakistan in a higher capacity, please fill out the following staff form for Return to Pakistan 2024.

If you are interested in coming to the competition just to volunteer, please send an email to the competition organizer before the competition.

We will be calling up competitors in groups to ensure that the competition runs smoothly and that competitors do not have to wait for all other competitors to go before their next attempt.

The groups for each competitor will be posted after online registration closes.

Live results will be available online at WCA Live.

You may also use the QR code located on your nametag to be directed to the competition WCA link.

Q: Why am I not on the registration list yet?

A: Make sure you pay your registration fee in order to be automatically placed on the registered list, which will also guarantee you a spot in the competition. If payment may be an issue, or you are not sure if you can attend, use the contact button to talk to us, and see if we can work out another payment strategy, or have you pay on arrival at the competition. No matter what your situation may be, please register online. It is much easier for us to have you register now and pay later than to have to input information at another time.
