PAGO INSCRIPCIÓN
● Hecho el registro, para ser aprobado en la competencia se te enviará un correo (correo que tengas asociado a tu cuenta WCA) donde se te informarán los datos bancarios y puedas pagar el valor de la inscripción ($4.500CLP)
●Ya realizado el pago, deberás enviar un correo adjuntando el pago realizado junto con el nombre del competidor al siguiente correo: ccpalcubo2024@gmail.com

1.- Saliendo del terminal, alfrente del estadio se puede tomar estas diferentes micros para llegar al campeonato:
* Las Bahías
* Buses Palomares
* Rivera Bio-Bío
* Base Naval
* San Remo
* Nueva Sol Yet
* (O cualquier micro que diga que pasa por O'higgins)
Al tomar alguna de estas micros, deben avisar al chofer que bajan en Av. O´higgins con Orompello.

¿Tengo que traer mi propio cubo para competir o me pasaran uno en la competencia?**
Cada participante debe traer su propio cubo para competir. Puede tomar prestado el cubo de otro competidor, siempre y cuando se encuentren en grupos distintos, es decir, no pueden turnarse durante una ronda.
¿Tengo que armar el cubo solo una vez?
Tendrás 5 intentos en cada ronda. De los cuales tu resultado será el promedio de ellos tras eliminar el mejor y el peor tiempo.
¿Existe un límite de edad para competir?
No existe un límite de edad para competir, todas las personas son bienvenidas.
¿Existe una separación por edad o sexo?
No existe una separación ni por edad, ni por sexo. Todas las personas compiten en el mismo grupo.
¿Dónde puedo ver los resultados?
Los resultados generales son publicados en la WCA algunos días tras terminada la competencia.
¿Por qué no aparezco en la lista de registrados todavía?
Esto puede deberse principalmente a dos razones:
No te has registrado en la página de la WCA.
Has tenido problemas con el pago de tu inscripción.
Si pagaste, debes enviar un correo a ccpalcubo2024@gmail.com con el comprobante del pago.
Si tienes alguna dificultad para pagar, por favor contáctate con nosotros al mismo correo.
¿Qué significa Bo1, Bo2, Mo3 y Ao5?
Bo1/Bo2: Significan el mejor de 1 o 2 intentos respectivamente.
Mo3: Promedio de 3 tiempos.
Ao5: Promedio de los tiempos tras eliminar el mejor y el peor tiempo de 5 intentos.
Todos los eventos, con excepción de 6x6x6 y 7x7x7, son categorías cuyos resultados son Average of 5 (Ao5).
Para 6x6x6 y 7x7x7 solo se tienen tres intentos de los cuales no se elimina ninguno y se calcula el promedio (Mo3).
¿Qué significa que las rondas tengan corte?
La primera ronda de cada categoría con excepción de la primera ronda de 3x3 son rondas combinadas (combined rounds), esto significa que existe un corte o cutoff.
¿Cómo funciona?
En las rondas Ao5, cada competidor tiene 2 intentos iniciales, si en cualquiera de los dos intentos logra un tiempo menor al corte o cutoff designado, entonces puede proseguir con los 3 intentos restantes.
Por ejemplo, 2x2x2 tiene un corte de 15 segundos.
Caso 1: El competidor logra un tiempo de 8 segundos en su primer intento. Automáticamente puede proseguir con los 4 intentos restantes.
Caso 2: El competidor logra un tiempo de 17 segundos en su primer intento y 8 segundos en su segundo intento. Entonces puede proseguir con los 3 intentos restantes.
Caso 3: El competidor logra un tiempo de 17 segundos en su primer intento y 16 segundos en su segundo intento. Entonces NO puede proseguir con los 3 intentos restantes.
¿Qué significa el límite?
Cada categoría tiene un límite de tiempo. Por ejemplo, para 3x3x3 el límite es 2 minutos.
Si te demoras más de 2 minutos en armar el cubo, tras pasado el tiempo, te detendremos y tu solve quedará como DNF (Did Not Finish).

Do I have to bring my own cube to compete, or will one be provided during the competition?**
Each participant must bring their own cube for competition. You can borrow a cube from another competitor, as long as you are in different groups, meaning you cannot take turns during a round.
Do I have to solve the cube only once?
You will have 5 attempts in each round. Your result will be the average of these attempts after removing the best and worst times.
Is there an age limit to compete?
There is no age limit to compete; everyone is welcome.
Is there a separation by age or gender?
There is no separation by age or gender. All individuals compete in the same group.
Where can I view the results?
The overall results are published on the WCA website a few days after the competition concludes.
Why am I not on the registered list yet?
This could be mainly due to two reasons:
You have not registered on the WCA website.
You have had issues with the payment of your registration.
If you have paid, please send an email to cccpalcubo2024@gmail.com with the payment receipt. If you encounter any difficulty with payment, please contact us at the same email address.
What does Bo1, Bo2, Mo3, and Ao5 mean?
Bo1/Bo2: It means the best of 1 or 2 attempts, respectively.
Mo3: Average of 3 times.
Ao5: Average of the times after removing the best and worst time from 5 attempts.
All events, except for 6x6x6 and 7x7x7, are categories with results as Average of 5 (Ao5). For 6x6x6 and 7x7x7, there are only three attempts, and none are eliminated, calculating the average (Mo3).
What does it mean for rounds to have a cutoff?
The first round of each category, except for the first round of 3x3, is a combined round with a cutoff.
How does it work?
In Ao5 rounds, each competitor has 2 initial attempts. If in any of the two attempts, they achieve a time below the designated cutoff, they can proceed with the remaining 3 attempts.
For example, 2x2x2 has a cutoff of 15 seconds.
Case 1: The competitor achieves a time of 8 seconds on their first attempt. They can automatically proceed with the remaining 4 attempts.
Case 2: The competitor achieves a time of 17 seconds on their first attempt and 8 seconds on their second attempt. Then, they can proceed with the remaining 3 attempts.
Case 3: The competitor achieves a time of 17 seconds on their first attempt and 16 seconds on their second attempt. Then, they CANNOT proceed with the remaining 3 attempts.
What does the time limit mean?
Each category has a time limit. For example, for 3x3x3, the limit is 2 minutes.
If you take longer than 2 minutes to solve the cube, after the time has passed, we will stop you, and your solve will be marked as DNF (Did Not Finish).

¿Cómo inscribirse al campeonato Concepción al Cubo 2024?
1.-Si eres nuevo y no tienes una cuenta de la WCA, debes crearte una.
Puedes crearte una cuenta yendo arriba de toda la página a la derecha, aparece un botón de ''Iniciar sesión'' le das ahí y aparecerá una barra donde aparece la opción de ''Registrarse'' le das click y rellenas tus datos para poder crearte una cuenta.
2.-Con tu cuenta ya creada, vuelves a la página del campeonato Concepción al Cubo 2024 y te registras, colocando las categorías que gustes participar.
3.-Ya registrado, debes esperar a que nos contactemos contigo mediante correo para adjuntarte los datos y pagar los $4500 de inscripción, ya hecho el depósito, mandas el comprobante al correo indicando el nombre del competidor, si el competidor es nuevo, lo haces saber en el correo adjunto.
How to register for the Concepción al Cubo 2024 competition?
1.-If you are new and do not have a WCA account, you must create one.

Concepcion al Cubo V2 2024 se llevará a cabo en la ciudad de Concepcion.
El torneo se realizará en el colegio Athens ubicado en Orompello 236.
Este campeonato está organizado por Atalía Wachtendorff, Felipe Bastidas Lopez, Axel Romero Lucero y Jorge Alonso Fabián Betancourt Parada, con un límite máximo de 45 competidores.
LÍMITE Y ACOMPAÑANTES
El torneo tiene un límite de 45 participantes. Se recomienda completar el registro con la debida anticipación.
El límite de acompañates por competidor serán 2 personas.
El registro se cerrará cuando se alcance el límite de participantes o, en su defecto, el 23 de Mayo a las 20:00 hrs.
NO SE ACEPTARÁN REGISTROS POSTERIORES AL CIERRE NI EL DÍA DEL EVENTO.
COSTO
El costo de la inscripción es de $4,500, que debe ser pagado en la pestaña de registro.
ALMUERZO
El colegio está ubicado en pleno centro de ciudad, por lo tanto, hay varios locales para comer y comprar cerca del recinto.

Concepcion al Cubo V2 2024 will take place in the city of Concepcion.

LIMIT AND COMPANIONS
The tournament is limited to 45 participants. It is recommended to complete the registration well in advance.
The limit of companions per competitor will be 2 people.
Registration will close when the limit of participants is reached or, failing that, on May 23 at 8:00 p.m.
REGISTRATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER CLOSING OR ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT.
COST

The school is located in the heart of the city, therefore, there are several places to eat and shop near the campus.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
