WDC (2015-04-14 21:47:16 +0000)
Dear Community, At Moscow Spring Open 2015, a competitor (under 18 years old) stole a timer that was being used for the competition but was actually owned by another competitor. The timer was returned the next day but damaged in an effort to hide it's original identity. The competitor has now admitted to this action. With the support of the Board, the WDC has decided that the competitor will be banned from WCA competitions for 6 months, effective from today until 13th October 2015. Please take this as a reminder that competition incidents will be treated seriously, especially those that have knock-on consequences for the rest of the competition and for other people's property. Regards, WCA Disciplinary Committee
