I have been thinking of this earlier, but with the upcoming US Nationals the issue has popped up in my mind again. At the US Nationals there are no less than six WCA delegates! The regulations state that the competition must have "a WCA delegate". It is not strictly said that there must be only one, but how will several delegates fulfil the task of The Delegate? When an issue occurs that reuqires the engagement of the WCA Delegate, how is a decision made?
- Collect all WCA delegates and they vote?
- Collect all WCA delegates and they decide in consensus?
- Call one WCA delegate and let that person decide?
or...?
