For an Average of 5, you must get a solve below the Cut-off time within your first two solves to do the remaining solves.
For a Mean of 3 you must get a solve below the Cut-off time on your first solve to do the remaining solves.

The cost for competitors who register online is $20 for the first event. Each additional event will cost $2, up to a maximum of $30.

The competitor limit has been reached, so we will not be accepting walk-on registrants at this competition. Waitlisted competitors will be notified by e-mail if there is available space.

Online registration will close at 11:59 PM (PST) on Tuesday January 3rd, 2017.

The competition will take place at the Vancouver Convention Centre West Building (1055 Canada Place, Vancouver, BC), in meeting rooms 202 to 204. It is within walking distance from Waterfront Station if traveling by public transit.

There is pay-parking available at the venue.

There are many hotels nearby, but we are unable to recommend one as the vacancies in downtown Vancouver are highly variable.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
