3x3 Round 2 will be a Head-to-Head round that is officially Best of 1, but unofficially a Bracket Tournament with some competitors doing multiple solves. The round is a single elimination Tournament where you will get matched up with another competitor where you will solve at the same time. Whoever has the fastest single out of the two competitors will advance into the tournament and get matched up with the next person in the bracket. This will go on until there is only 1 competitor left as the winner of the Head-to-Head Tournament.

Some more details:
- The Head-to-Head round will be a Bracket with the top 24 competitors from 3x3 round 1 making it into the Head-to-Head round.
- The first solve you compete in for the tournament will be the official solve for the 3x3 Round 2 - best of 1. Your solve will be officially ranked against all competitors first solve in the tournament which will decide the top-12 competitors who will advance into 3x3 Round 3.
- The top 8 competitors from Round 1 will get a first round bye and automatically advance into the next solve for the Tournament.
- The top 8 competitors with a bye in the tournament will also do the same official solve as all other round 2 competitors by being matched up with another competitor in the top 8. These matchups will still lead to both competitors advancing in the tournament, but the solve will influence the round 2 official ranking.
