Venue

The competition will be held in the Function Room in the Great Northern Hotel in Peterborough. The entrance to the venue is via Station Road, next to the Queensgate Shopping Centre and opposite the train station.

Travel

Car: The venue has its own Car Park which will be free all day as long as you get a token from the main reception. However, this is not a big car park so there will be limited spacing. If the car park is full, there is also the the Queensgate Yellow Car Park next to the venue which is £12 for Saturday and £2 for Sunday. The best postcode for sat-navs is PE1 1QL. There are many other car parks in the town and multiple other multi-storeys at the Queensgate Shopping Centre a short walk away.
Bus: There are both local services and National Express services to and from the Bus Station situated a short walk away through the Queensgate Shopping Centre.
Train: Peterborough is on the Virgin Mainline from London Kings Cross. There are trains to and from London every 10-15 mins. The venue is opposite the station.
Plane: Stansted and Luton are the closest airports which are convenient. You can rent a car, board a bus, or catch a train direct to Peterborough.

Accommodation

There are a quite a few hotels in the town centre, including the venue itself, although there may be other cheaper alternatives closeby.

Cut Off: You must achieve a single time under this time in one of your first two solves to complete the average of 5. If the format is mean of 3, then the cutoff applies after 1 solve. These generally only apply during the first round of an event.
Time Limit: If you take longer than this on a single solve you will be stopped, and given a DNF result for that attempt. These apply for every round of an event.
Total Time: All solves for the round must be completed within this time. For example if the total time is 10 minutes and you take 4 minutes for the first attempt, you will have 6 minutes left for your remaining attempts. This is generally only used for blindfolded events.
